[00:00:00] Welcome to Sacrilegious Discourse.
[00:00:01] For this is what the Sovereign Lord says!
[00:00:03] Why do you need prophets to tell people who you are and what you want?
[00:00:07] If you can justify everything that the God of the Bible has done, then you can justify any of your behavior.
[00:00:14] A lot of this mentality is trickling into what is now mainstream right-wing Christianity.
[00:00:21] I am capable of empathy greater than this God of the Bible.
[00:00:26] This is a Bible that they tell kids.
[00:00:29] This is the good Lord.
[00:00:31] This is the good book.
[00:00:32] He is fantasizing about murder.
[00:00:36] Mass murder.
[00:00:37] Head over to SacrilegiousDiscourse.com right now to find out how to leave us a review or support us on Patreon.
[00:00:48] Wife!
[00:00:49] Do you know what we're doing today?
[00:00:52] Well, we are finishing up our last episode for the Books of Amos.
[00:00:58] The one book of Amos.
[00:01:01] Yeah, the one book, the many chapters.
[00:01:03] The sort of many.
[00:01:04] The nine chapters.
[00:01:05] Some chapters.
[00:01:06] A few chapters.
[00:01:07] It's not books of Amos.
[00:01:09] It's just one book.
[00:01:10] That's the one.
[00:01:12] This is the one where I try to show how stupid I am.
[00:01:20] Because you're always wrong!
[00:01:23] Right!
[00:01:24] Yes.
[00:01:24] Yeah, that's the one.
[00:01:26] And then we get to do a pop quiz where you're even stupider, but that's okay because I'm pretty stupid too.
[00:01:32] Well, you know, as long as you enjoy the process, that's all that really matters, you know?
[00:01:38] Actually, I got an 80 on the pop quiz.
[00:01:40] Did you really?
[00:01:40] Yeah.
[00:01:41] Now I'm under some pressure.
[00:01:42] Mm-hmm.
[00:01:42] Okay.
[00:01:43] All right.
[00:01:44] So are you ready to do some contradictions?
[00:01:46] Sure as fuck am!
[00:01:47] All right, let's do this.
[00:01:48] Okie dokie.
[00:01:55] Alrighty, so we are hopping into our You're Always Wrong episode!
[00:02:00] Oh, right.
[00:02:00] Yeah.
[00:02:01] Yeah.
[00:02:01] Good stuff.
[00:02:02] Mm-hmm.
[00:02:03] Um, we've done a lot of these questions before at this point.
[00:02:07] Yeah.
[00:02:07] So...
[00:02:08] We kind of cover this every time we get into a contradictions episode.
[00:02:10] Yeah.
[00:02:11] And I think we've kind of deemed that if we've covered it way too many times, we're just
[00:02:15] not going to cover it.
[00:02:16] Right.
[00:02:16] So...
[00:02:17] And also, if the questions are stupid and don't really count in our estimation as a contradiction...
[00:02:26] Yeah, like math, bad math.
[00:02:27] Yeah.
[00:02:28] Like, whatever.
[00:02:28] As long as it's not like ridiculously bad math or something.
[00:02:30] Yeah.
[00:02:31] You know, there's...
[00:02:32] Whatever.
[00:02:32] It's...
[00:02:33] Or mixed up names.
[00:02:34] Like, dude, this is from thousands of years ago.
[00:02:36] They didn't even know...
[00:02:38] Sure.
[00:02:38] Like, how to tie their fucking shoes or whatever.
[00:02:41] I mean, it depends on how you want to look at it, right?
[00:02:43] Like, so...
[00:02:44] The...
[00:02:45] A lot of people say that the Bible is the Word of God.
[00:02:48] Mm-hmm.
[00:02:48] Right?
[00:02:48] So if it's the Word of God, it should be absolutely fucking 100% correct.
[00:02:52] Right.
[00:02:52] Right?
[00:02:53] And that's why people get hung up on contradictions a lot of the time is because, well, if it's
[00:02:58] God, if God's dictating this through people...
[00:03:01] Then it should be perfect.
[00:03:02] That should be perfect.
[00:03:03] And I agree with that premise in the grand scheme of things.
[00:03:08] Right.
[00:03:09] But in the individual scheme of things, like one-on-one and taking each little thing,
[00:03:19] there's so much valid argument to be made that I feel like it's shooting yourself in the foot
[00:03:25] when you're just picky for the sake of picky.
[00:03:27] Right.
[00:03:28] No, and we...
[00:03:28] So we focus on God's messages that are contradicting each other or themes that are contradicting
[00:03:34] each other.
[00:03:34] And that's where we kind of stick to.
[00:03:36] Exactly.
[00:03:36] Like, number one, for example, I feel like is a really good one.
[00:03:40] Does God allow pregnant women to be ripped apart?
[00:03:43] And your answers are either yes or no.
[00:03:46] Yes.
[00:03:46] Yes.
[00:03:47] According to Amos, yes.
[00:03:48] Yeah.
[00:03:49] And Hosea, sometimes pregnant women are ripped up to punish those who rebel against him.
[00:03:55] Yeah.
[00:03:55] Yeah.
[00:03:56] So, Samaria shall become desolate for she hath rebelled against her God.
[00:04:00] They shall fall by the sword.
[00:04:02] Their infants shall be dashed in pieces and their women with child shall be ripped up.
[00:04:07] Yeah.
[00:04:08] That's fucking disgusting.
[00:04:09] That was horrible.
[00:04:10] That was Hosea chapter 13 verse 16.
[00:04:12] Right.
[00:04:13] And sometimes the Bible just reports these incidents without comment.
[00:04:17] Like in 2 Kings, we've got chapter 15 verse 16.
[00:04:23] Manahem smote Tipshah and all that were therein and the coast thereof from Terza because they
[00:04:29] opened not to him, therefore he smote it.
[00:04:32] And all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
[00:04:35] Wow.
[00:04:36] Yeah.
[00:04:36] So, you know.
[00:04:37] But guess what?
[00:04:39] I'm right on this one, but okay, I'm wrong.
[00:04:42] You're always wrong because that's the point of this episode and all those like it is that
[00:04:48] you can cherry pick and find whatever you want to prove your answer.
[00:04:52] Right, right.
[00:04:53] Okay.
[00:04:54] So, according to Amos.
[00:04:55] Yeah.
[00:04:55] Oh, Amos.
[00:04:56] Amos.
[00:04:56] Yeah.
[00:04:57] God punished the Ammonites for doing just that, ripping up the pregnant women of Gilead.
[00:05:02] Yeah.
[00:05:02] In chapter 1 verse 3,
[00:05:04] Thus saith the Lord, for three transgressions of the children of Ammon and for four, I will
[00:05:10] not turn away the punishment thereof because they have ripped up the women with child of
[00:05:15] Gilead that they might enlarge their border.
[00:05:17] Yeah.
[00:05:18] We talked about the hypocrisy of that at the time because it was like...
[00:05:21] It's only okay if God says it.
[00:05:23] Right.
[00:05:23] Yeah.
[00:05:24] In my opinion, right?
[00:05:26] If you're God and you are punishing certain people for doing the thing that you later
[00:05:31] do, that's wrong.
[00:05:33] But you're God.
[00:05:34] So, you have the ability to just like, you know, Thanos snapped the fucking, you know,
[00:05:39] people that you don't like into fucking non-existence.
[00:05:42] I thought all life is precious.
[00:05:44] Right.
[00:05:45] Well, you know, I think that depends on which part of the Bible you're into.
[00:05:48] Yeah.
[00:05:48] That's probably more New Testament.
[00:05:51] And it's also probably more Christians of America try to spout that bullshit as they're
[00:05:58] claiming to be pro-life even though they vote to like do away with free school lunches.
[00:06:03] Sure.
[00:06:04] So, yeah.
[00:06:05] Fuck them.
[00:06:05] Anyway.
[00:06:06] Yeah.
[00:06:07] So, number two, is God the creator of evil?
[00:06:10] We've covered this one too, but the answer is yes or no.
[00:06:14] Yes or no.
[00:06:14] Yes or no.
[00:06:15] In the spirit of the fact that people believe God created everything, I'm going to go with
[00:06:20] yes.
[00:06:21] That's because it's true.
[00:06:23] 1 Kings chapter 14 verse 10.
[00:06:25] Behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam and I will cut off from Jeroboam
[00:06:30] him that pisseth against the wall.
[00:06:32] I'll never get over that.
[00:06:34] Him that pisseth against the wall.
[00:06:36] What a bastard.
[00:06:38] I don't think that was in our version because they don't use words like pisseth.
[00:06:41] No, that was the King James version.
[00:06:43] Right.
[00:06:44] Um, also in 2 Kings chapter 6 verse 33, we've got behold this evil's of the Lord.
[00:06:51] Then in Jeremiah chapter 4 verse 6, we've got I will bring evil from the north.
[00:06:58] And then Jeremiah chapter 18 verse 11, behold, I frame evil against you.
[00:07:03] Yeah.
[00:07:04] And then in Isaiah chapter 45 verse 7, I create evil.
[00:07:09] Hmm.
[00:07:10] Yeah.
[00:07:10] Wow.
[00:07:10] He straight up says it.
[00:07:11] Yeah.
[00:07:12] I was gonna say the other ones, it was just him bringing it, which is, could be construed
[00:07:16] that he didn't create it.
[00:07:17] But kind of like if I say I'm bringing deviled eggs to the family get together.
[00:07:23] Right.
[00:07:23] Doesn't mean I made it.
[00:07:24] Yeah.
[00:07:24] It could have been the grocery store.
[00:07:26] Yeah.
[00:07:26] Yeah.
[00:07:27] Yeah.
[00:07:27] In Job chapter 2 verse 10, we've got what?
[00:07:30] Shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive evil?
[00:07:34] So, yeah.
[00:07:36] Yeah.
[00:07:36] And then in Lamentations chapter 3 verse 38, we've got out of the mouth of the most high
[00:07:41] proceeded not evil and good.
[00:07:44] So, yeah, both.
[00:07:46] Okay.
[00:07:46] All right.
[00:07:46] And then one more.
[00:07:49] Amos chapter 3 verse 6 says, shall there be evil in a city and the Lord hath not done
[00:07:55] it?
[00:07:56] I don't know.
[00:07:57] Shall there?
[00:07:57] No, because the Lord makes everything just like you said.
[00:08:01] Yeah.
[00:08:02] All right.
[00:08:02] He's in charge of everything and he makes all the things.
[00:08:05] Right.
[00:08:05] And but guess what?
[00:08:07] I'm right.
[00:08:09] You're always wrong.
[00:08:11] Damn it.
[00:08:12] Yeah.
[00:08:12] The answer is no.
[00:08:14] God doesn't make evil.
[00:08:15] Oh, how could you say such a thing?
[00:08:17] The best example is in Psalm chapter 5 verse 4, for thou art not a God that hath pleasure
[00:08:25] in wickedness, neither shall evil dwell within thee.
[00:08:29] Like, ew, God doesn't do evil or make evil.
[00:08:33] Everything he does is pretty and perfect.
[00:08:35] Right.
[00:08:35] He's lollipops and rainbows.
[00:08:37] But I, you know, I'm going to, I'm going to say this because a lot of the Psalms and
[00:08:40] Proverbs were just poesy.
[00:08:42] Yeah.
[00:08:43] And people pleading with God for the way that they think that God should be.
[00:08:46] Yeah.
[00:08:46] Right.
[00:08:47] So, and I'm not trying to defend that.
[00:08:49] Yeah.
[00:08:50] I think that.
[00:08:51] This was another one of those that I almost didn't put because anytime the argument, whichever
[00:08:57] way it is.
[00:08:58] Yeah.
[00:08:58] The only one is in Psalms or Proverbs, I'm always a little bit.
[00:09:02] It's not a great argument.
[00:09:02] Yeah.
[00:09:03] Right.
[00:09:04] But I just wanted to be allowed to name all those places.
[00:09:07] And there were so many more where God definitely created evil.
[00:09:11] Sure.
[00:09:12] And, but you know, the thing is that there are a lot of Christians that will claim that
[00:09:16] God did not create evil.
[00:09:17] So I think it's an important question when, especially it's so prevalent.
[00:09:21] Yeah.
[00:09:22] It's all the way throughout the Bible.
[00:09:23] There's so many different places where it's like, yeah, he brought it, he made it, he gave
[00:09:27] it, he did it.
[00:09:28] And the only places where it's like, no, no way, Jose, he would never is in those pretty
[00:09:34] poetical parts, which is what the Christians know.
[00:09:37] Right.
[00:09:37] Is the, the Proverbs and the Psalms and the Lamentations.
[00:09:41] You know, they're like, God is pretty.
[00:09:44] He does roller skates.
[00:09:46] He can do flips on ice skates and he rides ponies, you know?
[00:09:52] Yeah.
[00:09:53] Yeah.
[00:09:54] Because.
[00:09:55] Right.
[00:09:55] Because ponies.
[00:09:56] I mean, you know, why not?
[00:09:57] He's everything pretty and good.
[00:09:59] Yeah.
[00:09:59] You know?
[00:10:00] All right.
[00:10:01] Number three, is it okay to drink alcohol?
[00:10:03] We've done this one so many times.
[00:10:05] Yeah.
[00:10:05] I can't remember what all I've answered in the past, but I'm going to go with.
[00:10:07] Yes.
[00:10:08] Okay.
[00:10:08] Sure.
[00:10:09] Of course it is.
[00:10:10] Of course it is because wine is a gift from God, as it says in both Genesis and Proverbs.
[00:10:17] Mm-hmm.
[00:10:18] God give thee of the dew of heaven and the fatness of the earth and plenty of corn and
[00:10:22] wine and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
[00:10:25] Yeah.
[00:10:25] Yeah.
[00:10:26] Yeah.
[00:10:26] Good stuff.
[00:10:26] Also, you're supposed to eat and drink whatever you like, including wine and strong
[00:10:31] drink.
[00:10:31] Like in Deuteronomy, it says, thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, the tithe of thy corn,
[00:10:37] of thy wine.
[00:10:38] Oh.
[00:10:39] And then when David brought the ark to Jerusalem, he, who was, you know, God's favorite, gave
[00:10:45] man and woman, every man and woman in Israel, a flagon of wine.
[00:10:50] Wow.
[00:10:50] Yeah.
[00:10:50] He dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, a flagon of wine.
[00:10:55] That's in 1 Chronicles.
[00:10:56] Damn.
[00:10:56] Yeah.
[00:10:56] And I mean, that's the word of God.
[00:10:58] Right.
[00:11:01] Right.
[00:11:13] And then in the song of Solomon, it says, I have drunk my wine.
[00:11:31] No friends drink.
[00:11:32] Yay.
[00:11:32] Drink abundantly.
[00:11:34] But guess what?
[00:11:35] A quick question though.
[00:11:37] Have we read Ecclesiastes?
[00:11:38] I didn't.
[00:11:39] Did I say Ecclesiastes?
[00:11:40] You did.
[00:11:41] And I was just curious because I don't feel like we've covered that one yet.
[00:11:44] I don't remember.
[00:11:46] Okay.
[00:11:46] All right.
[00:11:47] I honestly don't remember.
[00:11:49] You don't remember that, that we read it or not?
[00:11:51] I don't remember if we've read it or not, but it's one of the ones that I copied in here
[00:11:56] and probably shouldn't have.
[00:11:57] Got it.
[00:11:58] Because I'm going to bet we didn't.
[00:11:59] Got it.
[00:12:00] Oops.
[00:12:01] Why you got to be calling me out on the microphone?
[00:12:04] But anyway, guess what?
[00:12:06] What?
[00:12:06] The answer is no, because you're always wrong.
[00:12:10] Okay.
[00:12:11] Okay.
[00:12:11] You cannot drink wine if you're a Nazarite priest or prophet, which doesn't apply to most
[00:12:16] of us, but still in numbers, it says, and the Lord spake unto Moses saying, speak unto
[00:12:22] the children of Israel and say unto them when either man or woman shall separate themselves
[00:12:27] to vow a vow of a Nazarite to separate themselves unto the Lord.
[00:12:34] He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink and shall drink no vinegar or wine or
[00:12:41] vinegar of strong drink.
[00:12:43] Neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes nor eat moist grapes or dried.
[00:12:48] But this was for the Nazarites though, right?
[00:12:50] Yeah.
[00:12:50] I'm going to carry on, but right now I'm just referring to only Nazarites, priests, and
[00:12:54] prophets.
[00:12:55] Sure.
[00:12:55] Just FYI that we did read Ecclesiastes.
[00:12:58] Okay.
[00:12:58] Okay.
[00:12:59] It's after Proverbs and it's before Song of Solomon.
[00:13:01] Oh yeah.
[00:13:02] Yeah.
[00:13:02] It's another one of those poesy ones stuck in there.
[00:13:05] Yeah.
[00:13:05] All right.
[00:13:06] So in Judges, it says, and the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, Samson's mother
[00:13:10] and said unto her, behold, now thou art barren and bearish not, but thou shalt conceive and
[00:13:16] bear a son, Samson.
[00:13:18] Now, therefore, beware, I pray thee and drink not wine nor strong drink.
[00:13:22] I don't know if that really counts as a no, don't drink to everybody.
[00:13:26] That's just good practice for a mother.
[00:13:26] You're going to be preggies.
[00:13:28] Don't drink.
[00:13:28] Like preggies don't drink.
[00:13:30] It strikes me that that's excellent advice for that long ago, right?
[00:13:35] Oh, they knew?
[00:13:36] Yeah.
[00:13:37] Interesting.
[00:13:37] I didn't know they knew that alcohol was bad for a mother.
[00:13:41] Yeah.
[00:13:41] Wow.
[00:13:42] That's interesting considering that people today would argue that sometimes.
[00:13:46] And then in Isaiah it said, but they also have erred through wine and through strong
[00:13:52] drink are out of the way.
[00:13:53] The priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink.
[00:13:56] They are swallowed up of wine.
[00:13:57] They are out of the way through strong drink.
[00:14:00] They err in vision.
[00:14:01] They stumble in judgment.
[00:14:03] Now, that was just the Nazarites and the priests and whatever.
[00:14:08] You should also not drink if you're going to go to church.
[00:14:11] Do not drink wine nor strong drink thou, nor thy sons with thee.
[00:14:16] When you go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest you die.
[00:14:21] Oh, shit.
[00:14:22] It shall be a statue forever throughout your generations.
[00:14:27] And that's in Leviticus.
[00:14:28] Damn.
[00:14:29] Don't be drinking wine in church.
[00:14:31] I don't know.
[00:14:31] In Leviticus.
[00:14:32] I'm kind of thinking like drunken churching would be like a fun thing to do.
[00:14:37] Right.
[00:14:38] But I'm thinking, doesn't that like right there make the sacrament, the holy sacrament
[00:14:44] when you're, you know, the blood of wine, you're not supposed to.
[00:14:46] And they would be like, it's not wine.
[00:14:48] It's the blood of Christ.
[00:14:50] And I'm like, bitch, they bought that at the store.
[00:14:52] Right.
[00:14:53] They bought that bottle of wine at the store.
[00:14:56] But they waved their hands over it and they said some magic words.
[00:14:59] So it's blood now.
[00:15:00] So they did a magic spell?
[00:15:01] Yeah.
[00:15:02] Well, the church does not like magic spells.
[00:15:05] That's not really a magic spell because it's a Jesus magic spell.
[00:15:09] I'm just saying Leviticus says don't drink wine or strong drink.
[00:15:14] Yeah.
[00:15:14] Okay, fine.
[00:15:15] We won't call it a wine.
[00:15:17] I will still call it a strong drink.
[00:15:20] Are you saying that Jesus's blood ain't a strong drink?
[00:15:24] I don't know.
[00:15:25] Whatever.
[00:15:26] I'm not the one that made the rule book.
[00:15:28] I'm just sitting here trying to figure it out.
[00:15:29] Okay.
[00:15:30] Got it.
[00:15:30] And also, you can't drink or you shouldn't drink according to these following passages.
[00:15:36] Okay.
[00:15:37] In Proverbs, it says wine is a mocker.
[00:15:39] Strong drink is raging.
[00:15:41] And whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
[00:15:44] Hmm.
[00:15:45] Hmm.
[00:15:45] And then in Isaiah, it says, whoa, to the drunkards that are overcome with wine.
[00:15:50] But I mean, yeah.
[00:15:52] True.
[00:15:52] I feel like that whole book was kind of like, there was a lot of shit about drunk people.
[00:15:57] Mm-hmm.
[00:15:58] You didn't, yeah, I don't think you really like people who drink.
[00:16:00] I don't think it was about the drink.
[00:16:02] I think it was about alcoholics.
[00:16:05] Yeah.
[00:16:06] You know?
[00:16:06] That's definitely the way it came across.
[00:16:08] Let's not, let's not be Alkies.
[00:16:10] Right.
[00:16:10] Yeah.
[00:16:11] Yeah.
[00:16:11] And then in Hosea, Hosea, it says, wine and new wine take away the heart.
[00:16:17] Do they?
[00:16:18] I don't think so.
[00:16:19] I don't think so.
[00:16:20] I have not had my heart taken away from drinking too much.
[00:16:24] I drink wine with your mom quite frequently.
[00:16:27] You do.
[00:16:28] And she and I together, I think have more heart.
[00:16:33] And then finally, we reach our book that we're currently reading, Amos.
[00:16:37] Yeah.
[00:16:37] And it says, woe to them that drink wine in bowls.
[00:16:42] Hmm.
[00:16:43] You know?
[00:16:43] Because it's too big of a container?
[00:16:45] Yeah.
[00:16:46] Okay.
[00:16:46] Because bowls are bigger than cups.
[00:16:47] I wonder how big bowls were back in the, you know, in those days.
[00:16:50] I mean.
[00:16:52] Was it like a normal bowl that we have today?
[00:16:53] Or was it bigger?
[00:16:54] I think it was like bigger.
[00:16:55] I think it was not like a cereal or soup bowl.
[00:16:57] I want to say it was more like a mixing bowl kind of thing.
[00:17:01] I was going to say it would make sense to me, like for just utility, right?
[00:17:06] Mm-hmm.
[00:17:06] To have the same size bowl that you would use for other purposes, like cooking and things
[00:17:10] like that.
[00:17:11] That way you don't have to make, you know, 500 types of different bowls.
[00:17:14] Yeah.
[00:17:15] I feel like they were probably your cooking bowls, your mixing bowls.
[00:17:20] So, yeah, you don't want to drink wine out of that.
[00:17:22] Probably depending on how rich you were too.
[00:17:24] That is true.
[00:17:25] You know?
[00:17:25] Maybe the rich people did have cereal bowls.
[00:17:28] Right, right.
[00:17:29] So, that is that about drinking.
[00:17:32] Okay.
[00:17:33] Final question.
[00:17:34] Okay.
[00:17:35] Because I didn't have a lot.
[00:17:36] Sure.
[00:17:36] There were a couple more that one was too repetitive and the other one was number related
[00:17:44] or something.
[00:17:44] I don't remember.
[00:17:45] Got it.
[00:17:46] Anyway.
[00:17:46] But not worthy of a whatever, contradictions episode.
[00:17:49] Correct.
[00:17:50] So, number four, we've done this a thousand times.
[00:17:53] Does God repent?
[00:17:58] No.
[00:17:59] No, he doesn't.
[00:18:01] According to numbers, God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of a man that
[00:18:06] he should repent.
[00:18:07] Mm-hmm.
[00:18:07] And then in 1 Samuel, it says, the strength of Israel will not lie nor repent, for he is
[00:18:12] not a man that he should repent.
[00:18:15] Mm-hmm.
[00:18:15] And then in Psalms, it says, the Lord will not repent.
[00:18:19] And then in Ezekiel, it says, I, the Lord, have spoken it.
[00:18:23] It shall come to pass and I will do it.
[00:18:25] I will not go back.
[00:18:27] Neither will I spare.
[00:18:29] Neither will I repent.
[00:18:31] Boom.
[00:18:32] Mm-hmm.
[00:18:32] Okay?
[00:18:32] Mm-hmm.
[00:18:33] But guess what?
[00:18:36] You are always wrong.
[00:18:38] Yeah.
[00:18:39] Yeah.
[00:18:39] Before the flood and just after the sons of God had sex with the daughters of men, God
[00:18:45] repented for having made humans.
[00:18:47] Oh.
[00:18:48] Yeah.
[00:18:48] That was in Genesis.
[00:18:49] He goes, and it repented the Lord that he had made man on earth and it grieved him
[00:18:54] at his heart.
[00:18:54] He's like, fuck me.
[00:18:55] I made a monster.
[00:18:57] Right.
[00:18:57] Look at these gross sex monkeys.
[00:18:59] Ew.
[00:18:59] No.
[00:19:00] And then after Aaron made the people dance around naked with his golden calf member at the bottom
[00:19:06] of the mountain, God decided to kill all of the Israelites.
[00:19:10] But Moses talked him out of it by saying, what will the neighbors think?
[00:19:14] Stop.
[00:19:15] They're going to think that you're bad and wrong and weak if you kill us all off.
[00:19:19] Right?
[00:19:20] But he still killed 3,000.
[00:19:21] So God repented of the evil he had planned to do.
[00:19:25] Yeah.
[00:19:25] And that was in Exodus.
[00:19:27] And it says, and Moses besought the Lord, wherefore should the Egyptians speak and say
[00:19:32] for mischief did he bring them out to slay them in the mountains and to consume them from
[00:19:37] the face of the earth?
[00:19:38] Turn from thy fierce wrath and repent of this evil against thy people.
[00:19:43] And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
[00:19:47] How about that?
[00:19:48] I do recall that because that was big, right?
[00:19:51] Yeah.
[00:19:51] Like God changed his mind because of a human.
[00:19:54] He changed his mind.
[00:19:54] Yeah.
[00:19:55] That's weird.
[00:19:56] Right?
[00:19:57] Like why?
[00:19:58] Moses talked him down.
[00:19:59] I just can't.
[00:19:59] And it wasn't out of sympathy for his people like, yeah, you're right.
[00:20:03] I'll give them another chance.
[00:20:04] Right.
[00:20:04] It was, you're right.
[00:20:06] They will think I'm a weak and silly and capricious creature.
[00:20:10] And also then who are you in charge of too?
[00:20:12] Right.
[00:20:13] Right.
[00:20:13] Because these were your people.
[00:20:15] Right.
[00:20:15] So you lose all power by destroying them.
[00:20:18] Mm-hmm.
[00:20:18] I would assume.
[00:20:19] And I guess then you can like go on to go do other and better things where you don't have
[00:20:24] to be so aggrieved by your little sex monkeys.
[00:20:27] But what does a, what does a jobless God do?
[00:20:30] Um, I mean, I know what I would do.
[00:20:33] What would you do?
[00:20:34] Lay around and read and, and make stickers for my planner and probably get my writing
[00:20:41] lightning bolt.
[00:20:42] I would, would you?
[00:20:43] I would because there's nobody alive that it can impact.
[00:20:46] Right.
[00:20:47] Well, I mean, you're a God.
[00:20:48] So you would think maybe it could impact somebody.
[00:20:51] No, they're dead.
[00:20:52] Cause I, Oh, Oh, well I was thinking like if your people would like, cause you know, God
[00:20:56] had his people, but there were other people.
[00:20:59] Yeah.
[00:20:59] Oh, then in that case, no, I would not throw a random lightning bolt.
[00:21:03] Okay.
[00:21:03] Cause I don't want to accidentally strike anybody.
[00:21:05] Right.
[00:21:05] I'm not about that.
[00:21:06] I'm just trying to live my best life over here with my wine.
[00:21:09] Yeah.
[00:21:10] Yeah.
[00:21:10] Would you maybe give up like on the whole, um, not talking to people thing?
[00:21:15] Um, fuck this.
[00:21:16] I'm going to go down there.
[00:21:17] No, I would leave altogether.
[00:21:18] I want nothing to do with sex monkeys.
[00:21:21] Honestly, like if you had the option, wouldn't you be like, no humans of earth.
[00:21:29] What?
[00:21:30] Right.
[00:21:31] 2024.
[00:21:32] And y'all voted for Trump.
[00:21:34] Get the fuck out of here.
[00:21:35] I'm done.
[00:21:36] I'm gone.
[00:21:37] Yeah.
[00:21:37] Yeah.
[00:21:38] Yeah.
[00:21:38] And I mean, have you seen all of the alien stuff in the news lately?
[00:21:42] I've, I've caught wind of it.
[00:21:44] So there's like all these hearings going on again, still some more.
[00:21:48] Yeah.
[00:21:48] Cause there's apparently aliens in the ocean off the coast of Kuwait or something like
[00:21:51] that.
[00:21:52] Yeah.
[00:21:52] And, and like nobody's talking about it because who cares?
[00:21:55] Like the world is falling the fuck apart.
[00:21:58] Everything's on fire.
[00:21:59] Rome is burning, you know?
[00:22:01] Um, I don't, I don't quite understand, you know, but like, uh, aliens,
[00:22:07] aliens in the ocean.
[00:22:08] What?
[00:22:09] Aliens anywhere.
[00:22:10] What?
[00:22:11] Like it's in the news.
[00:22:13] I know.
[00:22:13] It's in the news.
[00:22:13] But it's not like, this is big.
[00:22:17] This is fucking amazing.
[00:22:18] This is, this is a time machine.
[00:22:20] This is huge.
[00:22:22] There are ghosts.
[00:22:23] There are vampires.
[00:22:24] There are, like, it's not like that.
[00:22:26] Well, cause we haven't proven it.
[00:22:27] Right?
[00:22:27] Like we don't, no one's, no one knows for sure what the fuck this is.
[00:22:30] Right.
[00:22:30] But they're, but something's happened.
[00:22:32] But they're like, right?
[00:22:33] Yeah.
[00:22:33] Um, we're having hearings about, you know, aliens and these guys are saying, you know,
[00:22:38] they're, they're trustworthy and they're saying there's aliens and they, wait, did
[00:22:43] somebody say there was aliens?
[00:22:44] Yeah.
[00:22:44] They did?
[00:22:45] Yeah.
[00:22:45] Are you sure about that?
[00:22:46] The people that are being questioned are like, there is stuff that is unexplainable.
[00:22:51] Oh, okay.
[00:22:52] All right.
[00:22:52] And, and they're like the trustworthy guys, you know, they're the ones.
[00:22:57] Hmm.
[00:22:58] And, you know, they're being questioned and made fun of like the people that are doing
[00:23:03] the questioning.
[00:23:03] They're like totally lambasting them, making fun of them, dragging them through the mud,
[00:23:09] being just so disrespectful to them.
[00:23:12] And these guys are like, just, I'm just, I'm just here to answer the fucking questions.
[00:23:17] Right.
[00:23:17] I don't fucking know.
[00:23:19] Yeah.
[00:23:19] You know?
[00:23:19] And, and you know what is worse?
[00:23:21] They're probably like, guys, it doesn't even, I don't even care anymore.
[00:23:26] I cared at one time, but we've got so much bigger fish to fry than, than aliens right
[00:23:33] now.
[00:23:33] Right.
[00:23:33] Yeah.
[00:23:34] Like, so yeah.
[00:23:37] Anyway, God does threaten to judge his people and repent by killing everyone.
[00:23:43] Yeah.
[00:23:44] That was in Deuteronomy for the Lord shall judge his people and repent himself for his servants.
[00:23:49] I kill, I wound, I will make mine arrows drunk with blood and my sword shall devour flesh.
[00:23:58] I think that that laugh is appropriate because God is evil.
[00:24:01] No, I agree.
[00:24:02] Yeah.
[00:24:03] Yeah.
[00:24:04] And then God repented again after selling the Israelites to their enemies because of their
[00:24:09] groanings.
[00:24:09] That was in Judges.
[00:24:11] It repented the Lord because of their groanings.
[00:24:14] Hmm.
[00:24:15] Okay.
[00:24:16] And then he doesn't like being judged.
[00:24:18] No.
[00:24:18] God likes to judge, but not be judged.
[00:24:21] Yeah.
[00:24:21] And he doesn't like to fear others, but he sure as fuck likes everybody to fear him.
[00:24:25] You know what?
[00:24:26] It almost sounds human.
[00:24:27] Doesn't it?
[00:24:27] It is human.
[00:24:28] I know.
[00:24:29] Yeah.
[00:24:29] I know.
[00:24:30] Yeah.
[00:24:30] After Saul failed to commit complete genocide as God had commanded, God repented of making
[00:24:37] Saul king.
[00:24:38] Wow.
[00:24:39] In 1 Samuel, he goes, it repenteth me, God, that I have set up Saul to be king for he has
[00:24:45] turned back from following me and hath not performed my commandments, committing complete
[00:24:51] genocide on the Amalekites.
[00:24:53] And the Lord repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
[00:24:57] Wow.
[00:24:58] Because he didn't do the genocide that God wanted.
[00:25:01] I hate it when my guy does not do genocide.
[00:25:03] Wow.
[00:25:04] I'm repenting over that choice.
[00:25:06] Yeah.
[00:25:06] Of all the things that you could repent over.
[00:25:08] I feel really bad about making him king.
[00:25:11] I mean, that was such a poor decision considering the fact that he did not do a genocide.
[00:25:16] Wow.
[00:25:17] I just feel terrible about that.
[00:25:19] I mean, according to the Bible, right?
[00:25:21] Like, think of all the people that don't exist today because God decided to kill all
[00:25:26] of humanity so many times or lots of humanity so many times.
[00:25:29] And isn't that the anti-abortion argument?
[00:25:31] Right.
[00:25:32] You know, you could be killing the next, I don't know, like, smarty Neil deGrasse Tyson
[00:25:39] guy or, you know, the next artiste, you know, the next Picasso.
[00:25:45] Right.
[00:25:45] And it's like, dude, God killed more than any if you added all the women throughout history
[00:25:50] together.
[00:25:51] Oh, yeah.
[00:25:52] You know?
[00:25:52] Yeah.
[00:25:52] Like, God, God awarded lots.
[00:25:55] Lots of people.
[00:25:56] Yeah.
[00:25:57] But after God killed 70,000 men and 200,000 or so women and children in a pestilence to
[00:26:05] punish Israel for a census that God and or Satan inspired.
[00:26:10] A fucking census.
[00:26:11] I'm sorry.
[00:26:12] I just had to say that.
[00:26:13] Mm hmm.
[00:26:13] A census.
[00:26:14] The Lord repented him of the evil and quit killing people.
[00:26:17] And that was in second Samuels.
[00:26:19] And it goes, the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel and he moved David against them
[00:26:25] to say, go number Israel and Judah.
[00:26:28] So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning, even to the time appointed
[00:26:33] and there died of the people from Dan, even to Beersheba 70,000 men.
[00:26:38] And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented
[00:26:44] him of the evil and said to the angel that destroyed the people, it's enough.
[00:26:48] Stay now thine hand.
[00:26:50] We done killed a bunch.
[00:26:52] We'll call it done.
[00:26:53] Right.
[00:26:54] Yeah.
[00:26:54] Yeah.
[00:26:55] And then in first Chronicles, it goes over the same material and says, and Satan stood
[00:27:00] up against Israel and provoked David to number Israel.
[00:27:04] And God was displeased with this thing.
[00:27:05] Therefore he smote Israel.
[00:27:07] So the Lord sent pestilence upon Israel.
[00:27:10] I would like to point out real quick also that Satan is not the same.
[00:27:14] Like this is a bad translation because it's King James.
[00:27:17] Yeah.
[00:27:18] And so it's not saying it's not Satan.
[00:27:20] Right.
[00:27:21] Right.
[00:27:21] Sorry.
[00:27:22] It's the accuser or whatever.
[00:27:24] Yeah.
[00:27:24] Yeah.
[00:27:25] So the Lord sent pestilence upon Israel and there fell of Israel 70,000 men and God sent
[00:27:31] an angel onto Jerusalem to destroy it.
[00:27:34] And as he was destroying the Lord beheld and he repented him of the evil and said to the
[00:27:40] angel that destroyed, it's enough.
[00:27:43] Stay now thine hand.
[00:27:44] Yeah.
[00:27:46] And then God told Hezekiah that he would die soon, but he changed his mind.
[00:27:51] He repented after Hezekiah's prayer.
[00:27:53] So we let him live another 15 years.
[00:27:55] Do you remember that?
[00:27:56] I do.
[00:27:56] Yeah.
[00:27:57] In those days, this is Isaiah.
[00:28:03] Hezekiah was sick unto death and Isaiah said unto him, thus saith the Lord, set thine
[00:28:09] house in motherfucking order for thou shalt fucking die and not live.
[00:28:14] Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah saying, thus saith the Lord, I've heard thy
[00:28:18] prayer and have seen thy tears.
[00:28:20] Behold, I'll add unto thy days about 15 years.
[00:28:24] Okay?
[00:28:24] Yeah.
[00:28:25] Yeah.
[00:28:26] And then if a nation repents of its evil, God will repent of the evil things he had planned
[00:28:32] to do to it.
[00:28:33] So, you know, he might take it back.
[00:28:35] Got it.
[00:28:36] And in Jeremiah, it says, if that nation against whom I have pronounced turn from their evil,
[00:28:44] I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them because I'm so sweet.
[00:28:49] Right.
[00:28:49] I'm ponies.
[00:28:50] I'm rainbows.
[00:28:52] I'm dandelion in the wind.
[00:28:56] Mm-hmm.
[00:28:57] Mm-hmm.
[00:28:58] And then finally, we have a couple things from Amos.
[00:29:02] In Amos's first vision, God makes grass eating grasshoppers and then repents.
[00:29:07] Oh.
[00:29:07] Yeah.
[00:29:07] In Amos chapter 7, it says, God shooed unto me and behold, he formed grasshoppers when
[00:29:13] they had made an end of eating the grass.
[00:29:16] The Lord repented of this.
[00:29:18] Hmm.
[00:29:18] Hmm.
[00:29:19] He felt bad about it, I guess.
[00:29:21] Yeah.
[00:29:21] And then in Amos's second vision, God burns up the earth and sea and then repents.
[00:29:27] So, again, in chapter 7, behold, the Lord God called to contend by fire and it devoured
[00:29:33] the great deep and did eat up a part.
[00:29:35] The Lord repented for this.
[00:29:38] And then really, honestly, God has repented, in fact, so many times.
[00:29:43] He's getting fucking tired of it.
[00:29:46] Right.
[00:29:46] That's what it says in Jeremiah chapter 15, verse 6.
[00:29:49] It's I, God, am weary of repenting.
[00:29:54] Yeah.
[00:29:55] So, that's it.
[00:29:56] And guess what?
[00:29:56] What?
[00:29:57] You're still always wrong and will be forever as long as you're married to me and even past
[00:30:02] that, if you ever leave me, then you'll really be wrong, but you won't leave me, but you're
[00:30:07] still wrong anyway.
[00:30:09] Oh, my gosh.
[00:30:09] Forever.
[00:30:11] Okay?
[00:30:11] Okay.
[00:30:12] Yeah.
[00:30:12] I just, I was feeling a little.
[00:30:14] I guess.
[00:30:15] Yeah.
[00:30:15] I had to.
[00:30:16] Yeah.
[00:30:16] Okay?
[00:30:17] Yeah.
[00:30:17] Because you're always wrong.
[00:30:18] I'm always wrong.
[00:30:19] Even though you're generally right.
[00:30:21] Yeah.
[00:30:22] Okay.
[00:30:22] Okay, moving on.
[00:30:23] We're going to see just how right you are.
[00:30:26] Okay.
[00:30:27] Okay?
[00:30:27] Are you ready for this?
[00:30:28] It's 10 question pop quiz.
[00:30:29] Okay.
[00:30:30] The book of Amos.
[00:30:31] All right.
[00:30:31] Can you beat me?
[00:30:32] I don't know.
[00:30:33] Okay.
[00:30:33] We're going to find out.
[00:30:34] All right.
[00:30:34] Number one.
[00:30:35] Multiple choice.
[00:30:36] So, wait for the answers.
[00:30:37] Yeah.
[00:30:38] Why will the Lord not revoke the punishment of Tyre's transgressions?
[00:30:45] They killed all the Benjamites.
[00:30:47] They didn't remember the covenant of brotherhood.
[00:30:50] They love the silver and gold or none of the above.
[00:30:54] Okay.
[00:30:55] I'll ask the question again for our friends at home.
[00:30:58] Yeah.
[00:30:58] So, they can play along.
[00:30:59] Right.
[00:31:00] Why will the Lord not revoke the punishment of Tyre's transgressions?
[00:31:05] So, he's going to punish them and he's not taking it back.
[00:31:09] Right.
[00:31:09] Okay.
[00:31:10] And is it because they killed all the Benjamites?
[00:31:13] They didn't remember the covenant of brotherhood.
[00:31:16] They loved the silver and gold or none of the above.
[00:31:20] I am going to go with, um, hmm.
[00:31:27] I think I'm going to go with number two.
[00:31:30] Which one?
[00:31:31] The second answer?
[00:31:33] They didn't remember the covenant of brotherhood?
[00:31:35] Sure.
[00:31:36] Yeah.
[00:31:36] That is correct.
[00:31:38] Oh.
[00:31:38] Wow.
[00:31:38] Yeah.
[00:31:39] Okay.
[00:31:39] Okay.
[00:31:39] According to Amos, number two, what did he say the day of the Lord is?
[00:31:47] Darkness, light, joyful, or safe?
[00:31:51] I think I know the answer to this one.
[00:31:52] I'm going to read it again.
[00:31:54] Right.
[00:31:54] No, I know.
[00:31:54] Okay.
[00:31:54] Yeah.
[00:31:55] According to Amos, what did he say the day of the Lord is?
[00:32:01] Darkness, light, joyful, or safe?
[00:32:06] So, I feel like this is pretty easy because it was, it was, uh, there's, uh, there's only
[00:32:11] one that's really different.
[00:32:13] Darkness.
[00:32:14] It is.
[00:32:15] Yeah.
[00:32:15] I got that one wrong.
[00:32:17] Really?
[00:32:17] Yeah.
[00:32:17] I, I put, I think I put light.
[00:32:20] Really?
[00:32:21] Yeah.
[00:32:21] Huh.
[00:32:22] Sorry.
[00:32:23] No, I just, I, I mean, I, every time they mentioned the day of the Lord, it was always about destruction
[00:32:30] and things like that.
[00:32:31] I can't remember boring things.
[00:32:32] Okay.
[00:32:32] All right.
[00:32:33] Number three, who said to Amos, O seer, go flee away to the land of Judah and Ebra there
[00:32:41] and prophecy there.
[00:32:43] Ooh.
[00:32:43] I know this one.
[00:32:44] I know.
[00:32:45] Do you want to just say it without your choices?
[00:32:47] No, I want the people at home to play along.
[00:32:49] Okay.
[00:32:50] Here's your choices.
[00:32:51] And I'll, I'll read it again after I read the choices.
[00:32:53] All right.
[00:32:55] Amaziah, Eliab, Jeroboam, or Josedek.
[00:33:00] I've never even heard the name Josedek, but okay.
[00:33:03] All right.
[00:33:03] I'll read it again.
[00:33:04] Who said to Amos, O seer, go flee away to the land of Judah and Ebra there and prophecy
[00:33:12] there.
[00:33:13] Ugh.
[00:33:15] Amaziah, Eliab, Jeroboam, or Josedek.
[00:33:19] I believe it was Amaziah.
[00:33:21] It was.
[00:33:21] Yeah.
[00:33:22] Oh my God.
[00:33:22] Okay.
[00:33:23] I think you'll get the next one right too.
[00:33:24] Okay.
[00:33:25] Number four, according to Amos, whose transgressions will not be revoked for ripping open pregnant
[00:33:31] women.
[00:33:31] Okay.
[00:33:33] Ready?
[00:33:33] Yeah.
[00:33:34] It's Judah, Damascus, Ammonites, or Tyre.
[00:33:39] I'm going to read it again.
[00:33:40] Okay.
[00:33:41] According to Amos, whose transgressions will not be revoked for ripping open pregnant women?
[00:33:48] Judah, Damascus, Ammonites, or Tyre?
[00:33:53] I believe it was the Ammonites.
[00:33:55] I believe you are correct.
[00:33:57] Okay.
[00:33:58] Number five, what did the Lord say when he swore by the pride of Jacob in the book of Amos?
[00:34:07] I will fight their enemies.
[00:34:09] I will never forget any of their deeds.
[00:34:12] I will be jealous for them, or I will be merciful.
[00:34:17] I'll read it again.
[00:34:18] Okay.
[00:34:18] What did the Lord say when he swore by the pride of Jacob in the book of Amos?
[00:34:26] I will fight their enemies.
[00:34:28] I will never forget any of their deeds.
[00:34:31] I will be jealous for them, or I will be merciful.
[00:34:35] I think it was number two.
[00:34:37] I will never forget any of their deeds.
[00:34:39] I think that's right.
[00:34:40] Okay.
[00:34:41] Number six, according to the book of Amos, who sells the righteous for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals?
[00:34:50] Is it Judah, Tyre, Israel, or Damascus?
[00:34:55] Ooh.
[00:34:56] Hmm.
[00:34:56] According to the book of Amos, who sells the righteous for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals?
[00:35:05] Judah, Tyre, Israel, or Damascus?
[00:35:09] I am a little torn on this one because I feel like, I don't know, I'm going to say Israel.
[00:35:15] I honestly don't remember.
[00:35:16] Sure.
[00:35:17] That might have been one of the ones I got wrong.
[00:35:18] Right.
[00:35:20] Number seven, who was the priest of Bethel?
[00:35:23] Oh, this is the one I was like, you're going to get this one right.
[00:35:25] It's the same question again.
[00:35:27] Got it.
[00:35:27] Who was the priest of Bethel that sent to Jeroboam, king of Israel, concerning Amos?
[00:35:34] Amaziah.
[00:35:35] Right.
[00:35:36] Sorry, I'm not even going to, that one's, like we already covered that question.
[00:35:39] We already covered it.
[00:35:39] Yeah.
[00:35:39] It's Amaziah.
[00:35:40] The others were Hilkiah, Eliab, or again with the Josedek.
[00:35:45] Got it.
[00:35:45] Yeah.
[00:35:46] So yeah, I thought that was like a gimme.
[00:35:48] Right.
[00:35:48] Yeah.
[00:35:48] Yeah.
[00:35:49] Number eight, according to the book of, oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mark that in.
[00:35:54] Okay.
[00:35:55] Sorry.
[00:35:55] Number eight, according to the book of Amos, what will the Lord command to bite his people
[00:36:01] if they hide from his sight at the bottom of the sea?
[00:36:05] Is it a scorpion, an ant, a serpent, or all of the above?
[00:36:11] Now I'll read it again.
[00:36:13] Okay.
[00:36:28] I feel like serpents are the only one that kind of makes sense, so we're going to go with that.
[00:36:32] Okay.
[00:36:33] I think that's wrong.
[00:36:34] Okay.
[00:36:35] All right.
[00:36:36] Okay.
[00:36:36] Number nine, when the Lord touches the earth and it melts and all who dwell in it mourn and all of it rises like the Nile, how does it sink again?
[00:36:48] Here's your choices.
[00:36:49] Okay.
[00:36:50] Like the Nile of Egypt.
[00:36:51] Like the water on a thirsty ground.
[00:36:54] Like river of Jordan or none of the above.
[00:36:58] Let me read it again for friends at home.
[00:37:01] When the Lord touches the earth.
[00:37:04] When the Lord touches the earth and it melts, you know, the way it do.
[00:37:06] And all who dwell in it mourn and all of it rises like the Nile.
[00:37:11] Now, how does it sink again?
[00:37:14] Like the Nile of Egypt.
[00:37:16] Like the water on a thirsty ground.
[00:37:19] Like the river of Jordan.
[00:37:21] Or none of the above.
[00:37:23] I'm going to go with like the river of the Nile.
[00:37:27] Yeah.
[00:37:28] I think that's correct.
[00:37:29] Yeah.
[00:37:30] All right.
[00:37:30] If you don't get this one, I'm going to laugh at you.
[00:37:33] Okay.
[00:37:33] All right.
[00:37:33] Fair enough.
[00:37:34] Last one.
[00:37:34] Number 10.
[00:37:35] All right.
[00:37:36] Who was Amos?
[00:37:38] Here's your choices.
[00:37:39] A tent maker, a smith, a tanner, or a herdsman.
[00:37:44] A herdsman.
[00:37:45] Oh, shit.
[00:37:45] I should have let you reset it.
[00:37:47] Sorry.
[00:37:47] It's a herdsman.
[00:37:48] Who was Amos?
[00:37:49] Tent maker, smith, tanner, herdsman.
[00:37:51] Herdsman.
[00:37:51] It is herdsman.
[00:37:52] Yeah.
[00:37:52] Let's check your answers.
[00:37:53] All right.
[00:37:54] All right.
[00:37:54] Number one.
[00:37:56] Why will the Lord not revoke the punishment of Tyre's transgressions?
[00:37:59] You got it right.
[00:38:00] As did I.
[00:38:01] They didn't remember the covenant of brotherhood.
[00:38:04] Got it.
[00:38:04] Yeah.
[00:38:04] Yeah.
[00:38:04] That was pretty easy.
[00:38:05] I thought.
[00:38:06] Right.
[00:38:06] Number two.
[00:38:07] According to Amos, what did he say the day of the Lord is?
[00:38:10] You got it right.
[00:38:11] It's darkness.
[00:38:11] I had chosen light.
[00:38:13] So.
[00:38:13] Okay.
[00:38:14] Good on you.
[00:38:15] Number three.
[00:38:16] Who said to Amos, oh, seer, go flee away to the land of Judah and eat bread there, you
[00:38:21] fuck.
[00:38:22] And prophecy there.
[00:38:23] Amaziah.
[00:38:23] We both got that right.
[00:38:25] According to Amos, whose transgressions will not be revoked for ripping open pregnant
[00:38:30] women.
[00:38:31] That was the Ammonites.
[00:38:32] We both got that one right.
[00:38:33] Okay.
[00:38:34] Okay.
[00:38:34] Yeah.
[00:38:34] What did the Lord say when he swore by the pride of Jacob in the book of Amos?
[00:38:40] We both got this one right.
[00:38:41] I will never forget any of their fucking deeds.
[00:38:44] Got it.
[00:38:44] Yeah.
[00:38:45] We're, we did good on this book.
[00:38:47] Yeah, we did.
[00:38:48] Number six.
[00:38:49] According to the book of Amos, who sells the righteous for silver and the needy for a
[00:38:54] pair of sandals?
[00:38:55] You got this right.
[00:38:56] It was Israel.
[00:38:58] I think I had chosen Damascus and I don't know why that was stupid.
[00:39:02] Damascus never really came up.
[00:39:03] I know it would have been tire if anything.
[00:39:06] I'm a dumb ass.
[00:39:07] Number seven.
[00:39:08] Who was the priest?
[00:39:10] It was Amaziah.
[00:39:11] We both got that one right.
[00:39:12] Did I get a hundred percent?
[00:39:13] No, you missed the first one.
[00:39:15] Oh, I did.
[00:39:16] Okay.
[00:39:16] Wait, which one?
[00:39:18] Which one?
[00:39:19] I missed one of them though.
[00:39:20] I didn't recall.
[00:39:22] So, but it's not really that important.
[00:39:25] No, actually, wait.
[00:39:27] No, you didn't miss any.
[00:39:28] You did get a hundred.
[00:39:29] I got a hundred percent.
[00:39:30] Because you're a fucker, but you made me lose my place.
[00:39:32] I'm sorry.
[00:39:33] You should be.
[00:39:34] Yeah.
[00:39:35] Wife is scrolling to find where she is.
[00:39:37] Scrolling, scrolling.
[00:39:38] Okay, number eight.
[00:39:39] According to the book of Amos, what will the Lord command to bite his people if they hide
[00:39:43] from his sight at the bottom of the sea?
[00:39:45] It was a serpent.
[00:39:47] Okay.
[00:39:47] I had picked ant.
[00:39:49] When the Lord touches the earth and it melts and all who dwell in it mourn and all of it
[00:39:54] rises like the Nile, how does it sink again?
[00:39:58] Like the Nile.
[00:39:59] It raises like the Nile and it sinks like the Nile.
[00:40:01] Yeah, like that's a weird question, but okay.
[00:40:03] And then who was Amos?
[00:40:04] A herdsman.
[00:40:05] Yeah.
[00:40:06] Yep.
[00:40:06] You did.
[00:40:07] You got them all right.
[00:40:08] Wow.
[00:40:09] Yeah, you beat me.
[00:40:10] I did.
[00:40:11] I'm always wrong.
[00:40:14] Wow.
[00:40:15] I'm really impressed.
[00:40:16] Good job on you.
[00:40:17] Thanks.
[00:40:17] Yeah.
[00:40:18] Yeah.
[00:40:18] Good times.
[00:40:19] And guess what?
[00:40:20] We are done with fucking Amos.
[00:40:22] We are done with a mouse.
[00:40:24] Yeah.
[00:40:24] Well, congratulations, everybody.
[00:40:26] We just finished the 30th book of the Bible.
[00:40:29] Wow.
[00:40:30] We are done.
[00:40:31] Yeah.
[00:40:32] There is the weekly wrap up or weekly replay that I'll be putting out here shortly.
[00:40:36] Or well, tomorrow.
[00:40:39] Sorry.
[00:40:39] Sorry.
[00:40:39] And then we will be back the next day after that with the first chapter of Obadiah.
[00:40:46] Obadiah.
[00:40:47] All right.
[00:40:47] We will.
[00:40:48] You said first like there's a second.
[00:40:50] No.
[00:40:50] Yeah.
[00:40:50] No.
[00:40:50] There's just the one.
[00:40:51] There's just the one.
[00:40:52] Just the fucking one.
[00:40:52] Just the fucking one.
[00:40:53] All right.
[00:40:54] Well, we will see you for that really short book the next time we do a regular episode.
[00:41:00] Yep.
[00:41:00] Bye.
[00:41:01] Bye.
[00:41:05] Darauf hast du das ganze Jahr gewartet.
