[00:00:00] Welcome to Sacrilegious Discourse. For this is what the sovereign Lord says, Why do you need prophets to tell people who you are and what you want? If you can justify everything that the God of the Bible
[00:00:11] has done, then you can justify any of your behavior. A lot of this mentality is trickling into what is now mainstream right wing Christianity. I am capable of empathy greater than this God of the Bible.
[00:00:26] This is a Bible that they tell kids, this is the good Lord, this is the good book, this is He is fantasizing about murder, mass murder. And over to Sacrilegious Discourse.com right now I got a Halloween sort of you or some
[00:00:42] woody song H. Young. Wife, do you remember what happened yesterday and how to help we got here today? Well yesterday we read Ezekiel Chapter 31. We did. And in that chapter God was you know he was chastizing the Egyptians by calling out a Syria.
[00:01:04] He was like, Hey, you know Syria over there they're fucking awesome and you know what happened to them? I fucking killed him. And you're just like them. Yeah and you're just like them you're going to be
[00:01:14] yours you're so awesome and I'm going to fucking kill you too. And guess what happened? He didn't kill them. Exactly. He lied. Exactly. He got it wrong. He got it wrong. He messed up.
[00:01:24] God was wrong. Yep. So yeah it's a prophecy where we're in the prophecy and he's prophesizing and he's prophesizing wrong so that's what's happening. Which is awesome? Yeah that was Ezekiel Chapter 31. It was. Which means that today we're getting then two. Ezekiel Chapter 32.
[00:01:40] All right let's do this. Okay, okay. All right we are hopping into Ezekiel Chapter 32. Ezekiel. No. I'm just you know I'm throwing it out there just making sure we got it right. Ezekiel this is the last of Ezekiel's
[00:02:03] prophecies against Egypt. Good because he's so fucking wrong. He's going to fucking I mean like what the hell? He's just continuing the wrongness over and over and over again. So I'm like God how much
[00:02:16] wrong can you be? Right? And we're about to find out. What's more chapters? Yeah yeah because it was chapters 29 to 32. Yeah. Okay so here we go. Okay. And we start out with a date. So I'll be right back
[00:02:28] into my notes with the date. Okay. Yeah. And the 12th year in the 12th month on the first day the word of the Lord. To me. Yeah. Okay so here's what that date corresponds to approximately. Okay.
[00:02:43] About March 3rd somewhere between the 3rd and the 22nd. Sure. Of either 586 or 585 BCE. Got it. So after the invasion of Jerusalem and maybe like a year to year and a half after. Sure. It sounds like to me. I honestly I cannot keep numbers straight so I'm like
[00:03:05] he can't envision Jerusalem happen on like 587 or if it was either that or yeah I think that's 585 or 56. I have to have that in front of me honestly. Got it. You could tell me that right now
[00:03:16] and I won't remember it in 10 minutes. So anyway he says Son of Man. Yeah mere human. You're fucking worm. Yeah. But before we go further just in case anybody's been listening to us when we say the
[00:03:28] Son of Man you're mere human you're fucking worm. It's because like I realized that we've been doing this for a while and if somebody jumped in like in the last few chapters they're like what is going on?
[00:03:38] What are they doing? And and it goes back to God chastises his own people by calling and calls them fucking names all the time and one of them was like he called him worms. And one of
[00:03:51] them was actually mere human or something like that or like you basically you're just a human and I'm God right. And that's what Son of Man means. Yeah. It means you are not just human you're only human.
[00:04:03] Right. I just I it occurred to me in the yesterday's episode I was like we're just saying this over and over again. Like it just kind of stuck. We never really discussed it. Right. Just happened and we were like yeah that's I like that.
[00:04:16] Like we have this is the first time we've ever actually addressed it. Yeah. Like we never planned it. I don't like it needed to be addressed because we say it all the time now. We do. And I love it.
[00:04:26] I think it's great. It's what we never explained to our listeners so. So that's how that happened. Yeah. And in case you were wondering if we are like well planned out or anything, we're not and that is an
[00:04:37] example of how we just jive. Yes. You know husband and wife just jive. That's right. We riff well off of each other. Indeed. All right. Son of man. Yeah. You're human. Yeah. Fuckin worm. Take a moment.
[00:04:51] Concerning Pharaoh King of Egypt and say to him. Okay. You are like a lion among the nations. You are like a monster in the seas, thrashing about in your streams, turn in the water with your
[00:05:05] beat and muddy in the streams. Okay. So like a crocodile? I get what he was referring to him as a crocodile before. Well, not in our translation. Right. It was in other translations he was. And so yeah,
[00:05:18] I'm assuming this is kind of the same. I mean, that's what a dude does. He crashes about. Yeah. I mean, that's how crocodile kills its prey. Right. That is some violent shit. Those freak me out.
[00:05:30] I'm telling you I said it before crocodiles and alligators to me, they're the same thing and they are dinosaurs but they are evil and they are fucking crazy and I, oh, just look at their eyes
[00:05:43] you guys. Just look at their eyes. I don't know if you ever saw this video, but there was a, did I, did I really talk about this? I can't remember if I did it or not. There was this guy down in Florida
[00:05:51] and his dog is like a little shit sewer. Yeah. He was on a virgin Florida and the fucking, you know, alligator crocodile, whatever the fuck was. It was like aator and Florida came up and like eight
[00:06:03] his goddamn dog. And this guy was like hell no. He goes in with it. He's like, he's got a cane and he's like, yeah. He's like goes in and start beating now. He hits his dog back. Yeah. I'm like,
[00:06:17] you bad ass motherfucker. Right? What the hell to be that awesome when I'm that age, please God. I got to tell you if my dog or cat got eaten by a gator. I'm like, fuck, sorry man.
[00:06:29] I'm crying. I'm running. Yeah. Because yeah. I ain't doing that shit. No, because I have seen those sons of bitches and they raise up on their, they like raise their whole body up. Yeah. And
[00:06:40] somebody told me, I just the young ones. No sir. No. No. I've seen the videos not the doctored ones that actual videos where those sons of bitches, those fucking dinosaurs, those evil
[00:06:54] just gross monsters, lift their whole bodies up and they can run. Yeah. Oh, they can run really fast. Miles per hour. Okay. It's like 35 miles an hour. I think if I remember correctly. I can't run that
[00:07:07] fast. Right. Yeah. You can't run that fast. No. They can fucking beat it. Yeah. Okay. I'm not trying to fuck with those things. Yeah. And they're my dog just said, it's, you know what? I'm sorry,
[00:07:17] but no. Look, I look at those and I'm like, this is why humans were not meant to populate the planet because their remnants of the dinosaur age and they are like a reminder of we were here first.
[00:07:29] Right. And they they're right. They were, but that dude with the, with the cane in the dog, badass. I, I'm going to try to find that video and link it into the show notes because I mean,
[00:07:39] he's got a lot of fuckers. Yeah. It's amazing. See if you can find one more that dude like lifts himself up off the ground and just like starts booking it. Oh. I mean, like, oh, the alligator.
[00:07:51] You mean? Yeah. Okay. See if there's another video of that because I mean, guys, that's just creepiest fuck. Okay. So anyway. Yeah. Enough about alligator talk about that. Sorry. This is what we do.
[00:08:00] Um, so, uh, Ezekiel is speaking for God and he's like, Egypt. You're a fucking crocodile or whatnot. Okay. Okay. Right. This is what the sovereign Lord says. Okay. With a great throng of people, I will cast
[00:08:16] my net over you and they will haul you up in my net. I will throw you on the land and hurl you on the open field. I will let all the birds of the sky settle on you and all the animals of
[00:08:30] the wild gorge themselves on you. The word gorge is like so perfect. Like it's exactly what it sounds like it's almost an on a monopoeia. I don't know that I would call it that because
[00:08:43] it's not a sound that is the sound it made. Right. Right. But then bodies, the action. Yeah. Very well. Like you hear the word gorge and you're like, yeah. I know exactly what's happening there. Slurp.
[00:08:56] There's an on a monopoeia. I will spread your flesh on the mountains and fill the valleys with your remains. Wow. That is that is dark. Right? Like this is kind of cool like in a goth kind of way.
[00:09:11] Sure. But you know, the part that occurred, it's so God, the way he speaks about killing humans and other people is just so disturbing. I know it's kind of like nightmare fodder. You are
[00:09:23] kind of evil sounding. He's not really just kind of you are evil sound. Yeah. Yeah. He's like the way that you would write a God that's evil in your fiction. Yeah. Like he's that God. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:09:37] No, he's definitely the evil God. Right? Yeah. And I can't fathom how people read this book and they're like, he's a good God. He's a loving God. And I'm like, did you read the fucking Bible?
[00:09:49] Right. We're reading it. It doesn't sound good. He's excited about murder y'all. Yeah. I don't care. I don't care who these people are. You're assuming you're like one of the five people he actually
[00:09:58] lets go. But what makes you think you're that person? I don't know because I don't think I'm that special and it has nothing to do with my quote unquote sins or whatever. Right? I just I know that a lot of
[00:10:09] people don't like me and I'm pretty sure God would be right on that the top of that one. Yeah, or is it term Sunday Christians before? Right? Yeah. So like if you're a Sunday Christian,
[00:10:18] you obviously have not read the Bible and moreover you don't actually believe it. Right. Because if you did, if you read the Bible and you saw how God treated these people,
[00:10:26] you'd be scared out of your goddamn wits if you believed it. Right. Yeah. If you actually believe this shit, I would be scared to fucking death. Yes. And I know that some people that's how indoctrination
[00:10:37] happens, right? These kids get scared to fucking death and they can't leave. Yeah. And some people are actually that indoctrinated and that scared of God but the Sunday Christians. Those are the people I don't understand. They have all these views that they're pasture or their news media
[00:10:52] tells them to have that are quote unquote Christian related but they're not actually based in anything that they know about the Bible and they don't have the appropriate amount of humbleness
[00:11:04] with regard to their God. Yeah. Because if you did believe in this God, you wouldn't act the way you act the rest of the week. Right? So like Sunday Christians make absolutely no sense to me.
[00:11:14] No, me neither. I'm sorry. No, they do. They do make perfect sense. Sure. It's a social construct, right? It's a social thing. That's all it is. And but they tell so.
[00:11:24] It says no boxes and doing what you're supposed to do so that your neighbors like you. But it's also weaponized. What do you call it? It's weaponized judgment. You get to use that thing that you say,
[00:11:37] I'm a Christian, right? You get to say I'm a Christian and these are the things we stand for and I'm going to weaponize that against your beliefs because it makes me feel better even though
[00:11:45] I don't actually follow my beliefs. I'm still going to weaponize it against you. And I don't even know the piece of material that my beliefs are based on. Right. And it pisses me off. Yeah. Really
[00:11:57] pisses me off. Yeah. I wish people would just read the Bible straight through. Yeah. Yes, I think if you're going to, if you're going to espouse that you are a Christian, you should have to read the Bible straight through on your own and determine what you take from
[00:12:12] it on your own. And I want to God damn book report. I want like, yeah, I was going to say, I want you to have to justify 10 different evil acts. You know, you get to pick the 10
[00:12:26] and you get to use your own words. Sure. And then you get your certificate and your shining gold star that says, You are a certified Christian. I'll even allow the thick of listen to our podcast
[00:12:35] as part of the show. You know, like if you want us to read it to you or reading it to you, yeah. Come here. Listen to us. Answer our questions for us. Yeah. Listen to the words of the Bible
[00:12:45] that we're reading. And then answer the questions that we have about it. I want to know the you stand on firm ground with regard to your beliefs before I take any of your judgment towards me.
[00:12:53] Yeah. Yeah. Before we get to talk about how you feel about me, let's talk about how we feel about your God. Yeah. Like, let's do that. And which one is he? Right? Because this guy sucks. He does.
[00:13:04] All right. Anyway, God is talking through his E-gale. Yes. I will drench the land with your flowing blood. Oh my God. All the way to the mountains. Speaking of evil. Right. And revines will be
[00:13:18] filled with your flesh. Holy shit. That is this is it. Fucked up imagery. When I snuff you out. I mean, I need that on a shirt. Right? When I snuff you out. What's from God, right? Yeah.
[00:13:34] I will cover the heavens and darken their stars. I will cover the sun with the cloud. And the moon will not give its light. Okay. All the shining lights in the heaven. I will darken over you.
[00:13:48] I will bring darkness over your land. The clairs the sovereign Lord. The darkness doesn't really matter if you're a splatter of fucking blood. Oh, no. I mean, you're going to kill them that much.
[00:14:00] And then fill revines with their remains. What do you care if it's fucking dark out? Like, are you ruining the ecosystem or are you killing me? Pick a lane. I will trouble the hearts of many
[00:14:12] peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, among lands you have not known. Hey, there's some people over there. I'm going to kill them too. Right. Why? Nothing to do with you.
[00:14:25] But. Do I, I think, yeah, I think he was saying that people that they don't know are going to be troubled by what happens to you. Oh, okay. Like, they're going to see the bodies lying in
[00:14:33] the ravines and be like Jesus Christ. Christ. The fuck is that? Like, oh, that's that God over there in Jerusalem. Yeah, that guy. He fills people and ravines all the time. He's a murdering little
[00:14:47] fuck. Yeah. You just got ignorant. Keep walking. I mean, honestly, if like, I don't know those people over there, though. I don't really care if they're. I would care if I came back. Well,
[00:15:00] I mean, I don't think how would you know what did it? If you don't believe in that God. You just be like, who the fuck filled this ravine with a bunch of bodies? Either that or I would be like,
[00:15:10] oh, there are way too many alligators here. I am. Or the correlation you might make alligators dead bodies. I'm not going to fuck with them. You know, right? Right. They have powerful magic God. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe it might be an alligator God. That's what I say. Yeah. Oh,
[00:15:28] like, didn't the Egyptians have some kind of crocodile king God? Probably they had all kinds of cool shit. They did. Like, I mean, they're like, we can say that because it's a dead religion, right?
[00:15:37] Yeah. Yeah. We can say that Greeks and the Egyptians had the wrong gods, right? Yeah. Because they don't really exist anymore. Like, look, no God exists. But those gods aren't relevant to our society today.
[00:15:50] We all collectively agree even the Christians that those things are funny. Right. Which is funny to hear Christians talk about those dead gods because it's like, you don't even get the irony in what you're saying. You don't understand how this sounds to somebody who doesn't believe in
[00:16:06] your God. Yeah. Like, you should really examine this a little bit. Like, I just want to tell Christians, um, unicorns are real until you can prove otherwise because if your God gets to exist,
[00:16:18] I want a world where unicorns race definitely. Fuck off. Right. I God will cause many people to be appalled by you and their kings will shudder with whoever because of you when I brandish
[00:16:31] my sword before them. On the day of your downfall, each of them will tremble every moment for his life. You know, just the ones I haven't killed and splattered covered, smother. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:16:42] For this is what the Southern Lord says. Sure. Yeah. Okay. The sword of the King of Babylon will come against you. Okay. So I'm going to use never can desert a github. Right. Again, not showing
[00:16:54] God's power. He's showing this conqueror's power. And it's not even somebody that worships him and he's like, here. I'm going to have this guy that doesn't give two bucks about me coming
[00:17:04] killed a fuck out of you. Right. And then people are going to say it was my doing apparently. I don't want to understand that at all. I would say no, it's probably whatever God never can
[00:17:13] either end his people worship. Right. That's their God doing that because they're the ones taking over all this land. If I was going to believe in a God, yeah, I would believe in the God of the
[00:17:22] conqueror. Right. Yeah. That's usually the way it goes. Not the conquered. Right. I will cause your hearts to fall by the swords of mighty men, the most ruthless of all nations. They will
[00:17:34] shatter the pride of Egypt and all her hoards will be overthrown. I do like his perpetual use of the word hordes. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I kind of like the way these last couple of chapters have read.
[00:17:47] Yeah. It's in a very dark sense. If I was reading it in a horror novel, it's very beautifully dark beautiful. Yeah, darkly beautiful. And if we you can just get over the fact that people
[00:18:01] actually believe that this God exists, then it's beautiful and pretty in love. We love this God. Y'all is so cool. It would be a cool thing to read about as something that was a dead religion. Right.
[00:18:12] Like to see look at this imagery that they're using like that. That is amazing. I would love to be able to assess it on those grounds. I would love to be able to. Yeah. That would be amazing. That
[00:18:20] would be really cool in a literary context. Because that's my jam. Right. I will destroy all her cattle from beside abundant waters no longer to be stirred by the foot of man or muddied by
[00:18:34] the hooves of cattle. What if the cattle ever do? No, and again, I don't understand you're destroying the people. What does it matter with you to destroy the cattle or not? Why do the cattle have to?
[00:18:43] I don't understand. I think he just likes fucking killing things. He does. It's like that one bitch that we talked about last week or the week before. I was sick where she took her dog out and
[00:18:54] shot it and she was like, and while I'm here, I'm going to kill the goat too. Oh man. I'm drawn on blank. I'm kidding. No. No. What the hell is something? No. Yeah. Say whatever. The governor of that. Well, she's not a governor. I thought you what? Yeah.
[00:19:11] I don't know. Oh, no. Christy knows. Christy knows. Yeah. She's like the governor of North the Coder or South Dakota. One of those to Coder. One of those to Coder. One of the Dakotas. Apologies to the Dakota that does not
[00:19:21] can be. Yeah. Yeah. No. I we just didn't prepare to bring her up today. And we're not geographically adjacent to you. So it doesn't really affect the less of the day basis.
[00:19:32] I don't know this. I mean, I don't know that I can name most of the governors in the United States. Like they're not unless they make some news. I don't really have any reason to know that. Same
[00:19:41] you know. Yeah. Then I will let her water settle and make her streams flow like oil. Declare the sovereign Lord. We. Yeah. Yeah. When I make Egypt, desolate and strip the land of everything in it. When I straight down all who live there,
[00:19:57] then they will know that I am the Lord. See, sometimes you have to read dark things in a candy land voice. Yeah. Yeah. I'm gonna kill you all. He. He. He.
[00:20:14] To see the blood flow. It's just. But he's saying he's doing this for the benefit of his people maybe or like the neighbors. I'm not really like, I don't understand if you kill them all
[00:20:27] and their cattle and make it dark and fill the valleys with their bodies and like completely to store them, which you didn't actually because this this prophecy actually never comes true, not by Nebuchadnezzar. There is a place later that they do get conquered. But in the prophecy,
[00:20:40] it's Nebuchadnezzar that's supposed to be doing the concrete. So it's just this is all bullshit first of all and then second, it's not like who are you trying to impress? What are you doing this for?
[00:20:53] Right. Like if you were somebody that survived an Israel wouldn't you be like, stop. Right. I mean, honestly, if I was a human now and I thought that this got actually existed,
[00:21:06] if I believe that this got actually existed, I'd be looking for a way to get rid of that God. Right. Like how to kill like a magic spell. Like an ancient magic spell that we could track down.
[00:21:16] We gotta be late. We do. But the vampires layer and get the Scooby gang together and jiles magic shop. So I'm not gonna do we can't. I can't truck with this God. No, no,
[00:21:29] how do you get rid of a God? I don't know. I guess we could call Sam and Dean see what they say. They have killed another of them. I guess you can't kill a God until you get rid of all the
[00:21:40] followers. And that's that usually maybe does it? Maybe. But then sometimes you kill the God and that sets free the followers from the thrall that they've followed. Yeah, you gotta be careful who you
[00:21:52] get rid of. Which one comes first? The chicken or the egg? No, I don't know. This guy's held on forever. I'm gonna guess he's the problem and he's got people in thrall to him. Yeah.
[00:22:01] Yeah. So I would say let's figure out a way to kill God's. Right. Yeah. Yeah. If anybody's got any ideas, you know. No. Obviously we're joking because God's doing that's right. This is the lament they will chant for her. The daughters of the nations will
[00:22:20] chant it. La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la I'm chanting. Oh, I thought that was in the Bible for a second. I'm like are you kidding me? No, I'm a daughter and
[00:22:30] I'm chanting. Oh, raw raw. Get them, get them, get them. You know, chanting. It's funny that you said raw, raw, raw, raw, raw, and we're talking about each other. Oh, that is funny. Yeah. For Egypt and all her
[00:22:42] hordes, they will chant it. Declare is the sovereign Lord. Okay. I was chanting. I don't really know how chance go. I mean, you chant, right? Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. I don't know. Really. I mean,
[00:22:54] I guess it just is kind of sound like a spiritually officious maybe that would be the best way to describe a chant maybe. That's all I got. I don't really understand like what distinguishes a chant
[00:23:08] from like a scream or a yell. Yeah, we're cheering. Okay. What is this? UGLY you and got no alba you ugly. What? What you ugly? Like, is that a chant or a little known fact guys? Did
[00:23:22] you know that wife used to be a cheerleader? Oh, that's not where I got that from though. That's from the movie Wild Cat. Right, but I was just sharing a little on fact about you. I was only a cheer.
[00:23:31] Okay. Whatever. I was I was, but I wasn't a very good cheerleader. I was the only one that could do the splits in every single direction. There you go, say. But I could not do any flips or anything. Yeah. And yeah. And you were a cheerleader in Italy.
[00:23:47] I was. Yeah. Which I mean, that kind of makes it interesting a little bit. It does, but like, is so much more impressive on paper than in real life. I promise. Like if I told you
[00:23:56] the actual you'd be like, oh, whatever. Yeah. I mean, you just got to stick with the good story and leave the rest of it out. I know it's just everything about me like sounds so cool
[00:24:07] until I tell you the story, and then you're like, oh, so you're just nothing though. Did you that's where you got to learn the art of not telling everything? You just tell the fun bits, you know? What? A lot of people draw their own conclusions. I like honestly.
[00:24:22] They're at a that's going to be like, you know, wow, that person did a lot, you know? I like honesty. I don't like being like an Elon Musk where I like to put my horn
[00:24:31] and I make myself seem bigger than I am. I like self-deprecation because one thing is that then nobody can come along later and say, oh, I hit the crib. Right. I think honestly,
[00:24:42] both of us kind of have the feeling of being too honest about ourselves and everything. So I don't think that that's a problem. I shouldn't have said, I shouldn't have said as a failing.
[00:24:50] I should say that society kind of perceives it that way because you're supposed to pump yourself up. You're supposed to be your resume, which is like talking about how awesome you are. Right.
[00:25:00] Whereas I'm like, meh, I'm okay. I don't do. I will say you're a lot more self-deprecating than I am. But sure. Sure. But I don't hate myself or anything. I'm just not like overly impressed either.
[00:25:14] Sure. I'm mediocre and I'm fine with that. I think most people are mediocre. I don't think that's like a alien among people. That's the exact description or definition of the word mediocre. The real question should be, are you happy with who you are? Yes. That's the real question.
[00:25:30] Yes. Medioker, excellent or subpar. Doesn't really fucking matter. It's a matter of how you perceive who you are and what you want to do and what you're doing. You know, boiler alert, the majority of us are mediocre. And that's because mediocre means playing in the middle, not very
[00:25:47] special at all. Right. And you know, just speaking on a scientific principle kind of thing, objectively, that is what we are. Right. Right. So I'm fine with that. Laws of it. You know, we're having a conversation. You know what it reminds me of? Okay, totally way off subject.
[00:26:03] Sorry. But you know, we haven't been went off subject to the haul during this episode. You'll totally appreciate this though. Douglas Adams, right? Yeah. Zaffa Bebelbrocks looks into the box,
[00:26:13] right? And in the box he sees the entire universe and his place in it and he's a miniscule nothing. Sure. He's just absolutely a zebra right? Didn't he the press to order a little bit? No. Okay.
[00:26:25] The majority of people who look, I read this. I know that's what I'm telling you. Yeah. The majority of people who look into the box and see how much they do not matter and how small
[00:26:35] they are go start raving mad and kill themselves or get depressed or, you know, go mad. But it's free in it. Somewhat. But yeah, he looks in and he's like, yeah, that tracks. And so he walks out
[00:26:47] and is able to be like president of the universe or whatever. Yeah, because he's fine knowing that really doesn't fucking matter in the grand scheme of things. Right. Well, I mean it frees you up to
[00:27:00] pursue your loves of whatever you love. You know, like a person you can pursue whatever you want if you just honestly realize that what you do should be your own your own thing. You should
[00:27:15] pursue things for yourself because ultimately it's not going to make a difference to many other people in the world generally speaking, you know. So it's just not and if you take the universe into account beyond that, obviously the universe doesn't give a fuck about what Earth
[00:27:29] is doing even. Exactly. I mean, not only is Earth not the center of the universe like our universe is not even the center of like the galaxy. Right. Like the universe is the whole thing. Okay,
[00:27:44] whatever. The solar system and then the the galaxy and then the universe. I have a really hard time stacking like honestly, like I get them all out of order. I just had to I didn't I wasn't really
[00:27:56] listening that closer than I heard in the raw mortar somewhere and I was like wait wait that sounded wrong. You give what I'm saying like even the thing that is larger than us is not the largest. Yeah.
[00:28:07] Yeah. It's just like whatever. Be okay being small. Yeah. You know. Be okay being you. Yeah. That's all the matters. Yeah. So yeah. Okay, I accidentally scrolled and now I have to find my place.
[00:28:22] Okay, I was destroyed the cattle because I'm a fucker. Yeah. Well you really lost your place pretty good. Yeah, I did. That's awesome. Yeah, I was down at the bottom. I was like,
[00:28:31] wait, I'm not going to get this. Yeah. Okay, me, is Egypt desolate. Okay. When I make Egypt desolate and strip the land of everything in it when I straight down all who live there then they will know that
[00:28:43] I am the Lord. This is the lament they will chamfer her the daughters of the nations will chant it for Egypt and on her hordes they will chant it to clears the sovereign Lord. Okay. That's what I had just
[00:28:53] read. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Now in the 12th year on the 15th day of the month. Okay. The word of the Lord came to me is he. He'll. Yeah. So let me get you that day so that we can, you know, know what
[00:29:08] data is. Right. That's very important. Yeah. Knowing these dates. This date. This is a year ago. Yeah. This date corresponds to somewhere between April 586 to March 17th, 585 BCE. Okay. It just depends on the researcher because they use different technologies and calculation. Sure. So they can give you
[00:29:32] like a roundabout. They can tell you like obviously it's either March or April. So it's sometime in spring but we don't know if it was spring of 585 or 586. Got it. I want to get into some really weird
[00:29:44] calculations. You should look up numerology with regard to the Bible. Oh yeah. We talked about that. We talked about that a little bit with um well yeah that's a little number of the number
[00:29:54] yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that was fun. Yeah all right so in this March April of whatever the fuck year 585 or 586 BCE the word of the Lord came to me. Is he cute? Yeah I'm just I like to
[00:30:09] make sure we say like yeah who am I again? Yeah is he cute okay son of man. Yeah mere human. Yeah fucking worm. Whale for the hordes of Egypt and consign to the earth below both her
[00:30:21] and the daughters of mighty nations along with those who go down to the pit and by pit we mean the underground, the shield. Yeah but the the difference is that the pit and the old testament
[00:30:37] does not mean the same thing as hell in the new testament. There is a different understanding is to what that underground meant. It was a more visceral real thing in the old testament because
[00:30:49] it actually referred to a pit outside of Jerusalem. Yeah good Hannah that that they're referring to and that that is what embodied the idea of the pit for the old testament. It only evolved from there
[00:31:02] in the new testament to mean something more ethereal and more you know God like with the whole Satan aspect and all that. Exactly. Like there's people that say that Satan's in the old testament
[00:31:12] there are a couple of references in the old testament. Like in Job but it means it doesn't mean the same thing it just means like adversary or whatever it is. It's the word for adversary or um the guy who
[00:31:24] stands up. Yeah. The challengeers. But people that you know are Christian like to take the new testament and back feel what they actually meant and say well that meant this and this meant this
[00:31:34] whatever and it's not correct. Like if you read this in the the um manner in which it's meant to be read from a Jewish standpoint, yeah. It does not mean what the new testament says it means.
[00:31:47] Right. That's just not true. It's not true. You can try to make it mean the other thing. It's not true. But you can still take it and mean you can still look at it from the the older
[00:31:57] perspective and say well that's what they intended there and it makes sense that way much more than filling of them for Satan in the new testament. Exactly exactly like I know what Christians
[00:32:07] think it means. I would like to know you know the dude that wrote it down. What does he mean? I'm gonna bet that if you believe in God that that's what God believed that day. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:32:19] That's what God wanted those people that day to think. Yeah. If we look at this, I mean the old testament new testament. Right. God meant something different back here that he does here.
[00:32:31] Even if you take this as a literal representation of a God that God evolved by the time we get to the new testament. So it would make sense that his idea or his representations of what
[00:32:44] hell was would evolve from the old testament to the new testament as well. Right. Like that to me it would make some sense but no we have to make God make sense and therefore we have to make it all
[00:32:56] you know linear and at all is the same thing and it's all from the same God and they all mean the same thing. Yeah. And it just doesn't work in my head from what we're reading. Nope. So nope. So say to them
[00:33:09] guys that are going down to the pit. Yeah. Are you more favored than others? Go down and be laid among the unsurcum side. Those ones damn unsurcum sides. Not those guys with four skins.
[00:33:22] Did you not get your chain? You're a weiner chopped. You didn't get your weiner chopped. Then you're going down to the pit, man. You will burn in hell for that. Yeah for that unsurcum size weiner.
[00:33:33] You should have got your dick chopped. You really should have, man. Yes son's a bitch is. Yeah. You're humans. They will fall among those killed by the sword. The sword is drawn. Let her be dragged off with all her hordes. Okay. Again with the dark imagery here. Yeah.
[00:33:50] Yeah. From within the realm of the dead the mighty leaders will say of Egypt and her allies. They have come down and they lie with the unsurcum sized with those killed by the sword. Damn. That's what they're going to say. Yeah. That's what their neighbor.
[00:34:06] Well, can you believe these guys have to go lay with unsurcum sized other dead people? Oh my gosh. You know it strikes me that the Babylonians are probably on circumcised two and they're the ones killing them. Like the they're all fucking on circumcised. It's just some of them
[00:34:20] are going to be dead. Yep. That happened. And some of them are going to be Babylonian and some of them will be Egyptian. Yeah. Why does that happen? But you know war happens. Yeah. That's what happens in
[00:34:30] war. People die and some of them are on circumcised. I mean it might have been a few that weren't maybe sure. Some people I think are born on circumcised or born circumcised. There is like a
[00:34:39] condition. And I think we were talking about that back with Jeremiah. Yeah because they were accusing one of those dudes of like he was born on circumcised. Yeah. And it's not born circumcised. Oh yeah. It's not circumcision. It's a condition where you're lacking the entirety of
[00:35:00] it's a defect. Yeah. I think essentially. I wouldn't call it a defect. It would be a mutation. Yes, it's a mutation. Sure. Sure. I wouldn't say he's a mutant anymore than like a kid that's
[00:35:12] born missing a finger. But if it's not a person who's born blind. But if it wasn't biblically ordained, then it has to be a fault of a God so we can't admit that either. Right.
[00:35:22] Right. Exactly. But again like there are people born missing other parts and we don't give a shit about those. Yeah. If it impacts their their genitalia, then we care. But if they have extra
[00:35:36] parts I'm kind of angry that I don't have a tail. You know? That would be cool. Like I've actually heard about people that have like the the remnant of a tail. Yeah, I think a lot of people
[00:35:48] get that surgically removed because I mean I mean I was joking that I would like to have a tail. But I mean I think you know if you live in this culture it would cause a lot of problems. They have a
[00:35:58] tail. It would cause a lot of problems. Yeah. I've heard about people that are born with some kind of defect behind their ears where scientists have done like studies on them and they're actually
[00:36:12] redundant gills. Yeah, I heard of that too. Yeah. You said defect though it's a mutation. It is a mutation you're right. So I mean I'm just saying not to like I said the same thing as
[00:36:22] what's like your right. It was merely a genetic mutation as all. No, your your correct is a throwback. And a defect. Oh, we would have called it the defect in the past but the sounds to mean it sounds to
[00:36:33] you it's not defective just a human being that has something different from other human. It's ableist you have a recessive gene that showed up. Right. Exactly. Like, duh. Right. Okay. So
[00:36:46] Assyria is there with her whole army she is surrounded by the graves of all her slain all who have fallen by the sword so again we're talking about Assyria. Remember how great they were and they
[00:36:58] died. Well, I think that they were saying I think the way it read was that they were going like Egypt the uncircumcised from Egypt were going down to the pit right and they were going down there
[00:37:06] they're going to be with the other people that were in the pit and the other people that are in the pit are in the series. That's what that's referencing there. Their graves are in the depths of the pit
[00:37:15] and her army lies around her grave all who spread terror in the land of the living are slain fallen by the sword. Elam is there with all her hordes around her grave all of them are slain
[00:37:30] fallen by the sword. All who had spread terror in the land of the living went down on circumcised to earth below. I guess I can take it seriously. No, like the fact that you have to throw in the
[00:37:45] uncircumcised pit is just ridiculous. It's like let's talk about some scary dark shit with blood and knives and you're going to get buried alive and now about your deck. You just took me right out.
[00:38:02] I'm sorry. Yeah, lost the thread there man. Yeah, I'm sorry but that has nothing to do. That part does not it does not add to the story. Not at all. Except for an a religious sense because let's be honest
[00:38:18] it does matter religiously. It does but I just don't get it. Well, I don't either but I mean it's not not having accepted God, not not not believing in God why would we understand that? Well,
[00:38:32] I mean we do logically understand what they are doing when you know they say that the the people from Jerusalem or the Jewish people are circumcised and other people are not, right? It's an indication that you have accepted your God and you believe in that God and
[00:38:50] it's a sacrifice to you. It's a sacrifice. It's a covenant that you saw. Sure. It's all those things. Now, why they chose to focus on Dix's part of this is beyond me but we do know what it means.
[00:39:01] It just still is absurd in the whole grand scheme of all the things that we're talking about. Here's what I mean though. Like okay the movie Willow. In the very beginning like Willow is trying
[00:39:15] to be a magician he goes up to be tested every fucking year and the grand old magician guy asked the question of all of the applicants and they always bail and the question that he asked this
[00:39:26] particular year was which finger does your magic reside in? I don't remember the fucking answer because it's a relevant. But that makes sense, right? Like yes we use our fingers. I can see magic
[00:39:43] being related to fingers or God power something being related to your fingers or your hands. Okay sure. I can't understand how where I pee or fuck? I can't understand how that. That is not what I use practically in my everyday life out and about in the world.
[00:40:04] Right, right. So I don't understand it other than other than that it's your most vulnerable part of your body I guess. I think that's a large part of what this is. I mean they obviously are
[00:40:15] very concerned about their their penises and ancient times, right? That's how they make covenant even amongst themselves. They wash each other's balls as part of a you know solidifying deals and shit. I mean there's a lot of weird shit with regard to the the genitalia in ancient times.
[00:40:34] Right. And so I feel like they were preoccupied with the idea of this was a very important feature of what it is to be human. And so because it is a very important feature,
[00:40:44] it creates the babies, it releases the you know your waist, it does all these things and you know so therefore it must be an important part of what it is to be human. Right? So if it is an
[00:40:57] important part to be of being human when God asks you to cut part of that thing off, that's a big fucking deal. All right. Yeah I'm just okay. That's all you're bringing at home a little bit.
[00:41:08] It was the realization that that is the most vulnerable part of your body that kind of did it for me. Sure. Okay. And I'm not trying to justify like I still think it's absurd, right? Like it's not.
[00:41:19] I mean your face is pretty fucking vulnerable too. Like you could cut off your nose. Yeah. Right? Right. Like you could cut off your nose. Sure. Yeah. I mean there's a lot of things you could do
[00:41:29] but that is what they chose so that's where we are. I mean we talk about Dix and the Bible now. Your feet have like billions of bones in them or whatever. Okay not billions but you know what I mean?
[00:41:39] Yeah. Like they're pretty fucking vulnerable. Like I snapped one of my bones just walking across my neighbor's backyard. Yeah. You know? Right. So that's pretty fucking vulnerable. Like we could have it like chop off a toe. Right? So do you really need a pinkie toe? No.
[00:41:57] You need a lot of your tools for balance. Like I think your middle toe and your big toe or the ones you specifically need for balance? Sure. I could have those wrong feel free to shout out at
[00:42:08] me what a dumb ass I am. Yeah. But there are a couple that you actually need for balance. Got it. But the other ones yeah chop them off. Get them to God whatever. There you go. So I wipe it. Okay.
[00:42:19] Yeah whatever. Any way. And if you're if you are a person who has a vagina, you don't get to give up anything to God. Right. Right. So it would be more gender neutral if we
[00:42:31] cut off our pinky toes instead. Yeah. And don't forget like we we early on was it it was David actually that collected four skins from the dead that he killed to collect to pay for his wife
[00:42:45] which was some sort of a, typically arranged marriage type and it wasn't even biblical. But it was traditionally I don't know. I don't know why the fuck that happened. But he collected fucking
[00:42:55] four skins off of the dead people. Like so it's it's very the pre the the pre occupation with the the the four skins is beyond me a little bit but I understand the the significance of why
[00:43:09] it's something that they might consider important and it still is absurd to me though. So yeah, yeah it's absurd. Yeah. I'm going to just leave it there. Yeah. It's also weird and gross. I'm not
[00:43:21] just going to leave it there. It's weird and gross because Republicans today are still preoccupied with genitalia. They are but not just the penis. They are very occupied with what is happening
[00:43:35] to vagina. It's just that now if you want to solidify a deal with a Republican, you got to watch their truck balls instead of that. That's hilarious. All right. So they bear their shame with those
[00:43:46] who go down to the pit. A bed is made for her among the slaying with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are uncircumcised killed by the sword because their terror had spread in the land of
[00:43:59] the living. They bear their shame with those who go down to the pit. They are laid among the slaying. The deadty, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead with other dead. And then they're all dead together being dead.
[00:44:12] Yeah. Got it. Mishek and Tubal are there with all their hordes around their graves. Okay. These are other. Yeah, I think I remember the men in the city or whatever. All of them are uncircumcised
[00:44:24] killed by the sword because they spread their terror in the land of the living. But they do not lie with the fallen warriors of wolves. They're in bad graveyard. Not the good one. Oh, what's the bad
[00:44:36] grave? The uncircumcised ones. Oh, yeah. Okay. They don't lie with the fallen warriors of old who went down to the realm of the dead with their weapons of war. Their swords placed under their heads
[00:44:48] and their shields resting on their bones. Though these warriors also are terrorized the land of the living. You too, Pharaoh will be broken and lie among the uncircumcised with those killed by the
[00:45:00] sword. So there's tears of how shitty the pit is. I think it has to do with like Catholics have graveyards that are hollowed ground. Yeah. If you commit suicide or other sins,
[00:45:19] you are not allowed to be buried in their graveyard. So you still get to be buried. Sure. But not in a Catholic. Well, I mean, it could actually mean like just literally the burial rights that are being
[00:45:28] instrumented here by like the pit could actually in this case since it's not literally talking about Jerusalem and shield and all that that was like literally the pit. Yeah. And we're in Egypt, the pit could literally be a fucking pit that they're getting tossed into. Yeah. You know,
[00:45:43] that would make sense in a any awful scenario where wars happening on a large scale and lots of people. And it matters to them because they're in unmarked graves where their family members cannot
[00:45:55] come more than them. Right. Very old. Right. Or even to this day, a very important right for many many cultures. Yeah. Yeah. I mean that would make sense as to like mock them in that sense. Right.
[00:46:06] So. Right. Like you are going to be unknown to history. You're going to go down just one of many. Yeah. So yeah. That makes sense. Yeah. Eidom is there. Her kings and all her princes despite their
[00:46:20] power. They are laid with those killed by the sword. They lie with the uncircum sized with those who go down to the pit. All the princes of the north and all the Sedonians are there. They went
[00:46:31] down with the slain and de Grace despite the terror caused by their power. They lie on circumcised with those killed by the sword and build her bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.
[00:46:44] Okay. So all these bad guys that people in the dead, they're on the pit. They're old. They all in the proverbial pit but a pit nonetheless. Yeah with fully intact eggs. Yes. So okay. Those bad
[00:46:56] bones. Pharaoh, he and all his army will see them and he will be consoled for all his hordes that were killed by the sword to clear the sovereign lord. Why will he be consoled? Yeah.
[00:47:10] That doesn't make sense. Does it? Although I had him spread terror in the land of the living Pharaoh and all his hordes will be laid among the uncircum sized with those killed by the sword.
[00:47:22] That doesn't count. That's why he says. The sound consoling. What are these say back there? He said Pharaoh and all his army will see them and he will be consoled for all his hordes that were
[00:47:34] killed by the sword. I would like to look into that phrase in a little bit of a minute too. Yeah, because that doesn't make a lot of sense. That makes no sense. It sounds actually wrong.
[00:47:43] It sounds like a bad translation. Maybe or just, or they mean something else by I don't know. Maybe the word consoled used to mean something different. Yeah that doesn't sound
[00:47:55] right. No. Right there at the end man. Right. Lost the plot. Yeah. So that was a lot of dark imagery and it's the end of fucking around with Egypt. I'm kind I think I'm happy about I don't know.
[00:48:09] I shouldn't you know, I don't want to I don't want to pre-suppose what's going to actually be happening next because I'm not going to lie. I actually enjoyed hating these pieces. Like sometimes I hate pieces and I'm like nope there's just nothing but hate. But this whole fucking
[00:48:25] Egypt and all of Egypt and Egypt needs to get fucked. Right? Yeah. All of that. I enjoyed hating that section. Yeah, I get that. And I actually kind of enjoyed the fact that
[00:48:38] this whole time that we've been talking about Egypt, that it was a reminder that God is not always right. You know because because the the prophecy is very loose and you are serious as far as
[00:48:50] the being fulfilled. So it's not it's not holding up the truth or it's not holding up what was said in the Bible as to what actually transpired. Yeah. It didn't hold water with actual history.
[00:49:05] Not that we need to prove through the Bible that the Bible is wrong. But it doesn't hurt when you're talking to somebody of its Christian to say, look man you're Bible like literally your
[00:49:15] Bible is wrong. Yeah. I can point to you four chapters in your Bible and in a book that you actually were veer as equal because as equal is very prominent in the New Testament. I can point
[00:49:27] to four chapters in that book that are absolutely fucking wrong. Yeah. And they would be like no no that's not in there. Even that it you're dating it wrong you're reading out of your texture. You
[00:49:38] know no and you can explain it to them any number of ways and they're still going to say you're reading it wrong but this is why I know they like I understand at that point they haven't actually read
[00:49:47] the Bible for themselves. They haven't set down to try to understand it with any bit of intellect for them like any bit of understanding or or self teaching. It's all been pumped down their
[00:50:01] throats from their pastor or whoever the internet at this point like a lot of the people I talk to now are very much secluded in their own little bubbles with these online pastors and the
[00:50:15] thing never get to interact with. And the only thing that these pastors are sharing are soundbites about hell and you know transphobia and and just hate messages, right? But it's it's intermingled
[00:50:30] with with messages from the Bible and they teach the Bible but they teach the Bible in their own very specific way. And these people don't actually know what they're learning because they don't bother
[00:50:42] to read it for themselves. They don't bother to try to understand it for themselves. Great. And that's what bothers me about the ignorance that is inherent in a lot of the right wing
[00:50:52] Christianity. Sure. So that being said this was as E.K. El chapter 32. Sure, it's like what? Which means that we will be back tomorrow with Ezekiel chapter 33. All right, we'll see you then.
[00:51:06] May. Hey wife I guess that's the end. But husband that's just said it doesn't have to be we are on lots of social media platforms like Twitter or handle there is sacral of dissonance court
