Job is trying really hard to make two opposing notions be true at once:
"God is being super cruel to me, but he's still neato!"
and also:
"God is never wrong, but seriously, I haven't done anything to deserve this bs."
The back and forth is exhausting, which is why Wife was excited to distract us with a Lewis Carroll poem about a certain little crocodile.
