[00:00:00] Welcome to Sacrilegious Discourse, for this is what the Sovereign Lord says!
[00:00:04] Why do you need prophets to tell people who you are and what you want?
[00:00:07] If you can justify everything that the God of the Bible has done, then you can justify any of your behavior.
[00:00:14] A lot of this mentality is trickling into what is now mainstream right-wing Christianity.
[00:00:20] I am capable of empathy greater than this God of the Bible.
[00:00:26] This is a Bible that they tell kids.
[00:00:29] This is the good Lord.
[00:00:31] This is the good book.
[00:00:32] He is fantasizing about murder, mass murder.
[00:00:37] Head over to SacrilegiousDiscourse.com right now to find out how to leave us a review or support us on Patreon.
[00:00:48] Wife!
[00:00:49] Guess what we're finally doing!
[00:00:50] Well, a long overdue, well...
[00:00:53] The rest of our Patreon!
[00:00:56] Yeah, so we started off with an episode about Project 2025, and we got sidetracked...
[00:01:03] Well, not sidetracked.
[00:01:03] We started with the intro into it, which was about the Heritage Foundation and a lot of other things,
[00:01:10] and we never actually got to the 2025 project of that thing.
[00:01:15] Yeah.
[00:01:16] So we're finishing that up.
[00:01:18] Mm-hmm.
[00:01:20] And if you listen to the first one, it is publicly available on our Patreon for everybody to listen to,
[00:01:26] as long as you're a free subscriber on Patreon, which you can do that at Patreon.com forward slash SacrilegiousDiscourse.
[00:01:33] Mm-hmm.
[00:01:33] But this one will be for subscribers only.
[00:01:36] So if you're a Bronze member or higher, this one will be just for you.
[00:01:41] So definitely, if you are not a patron already, go do that now.
[00:01:45] Yep.
[00:01:45] All right.
[00:01:46] You ready to get into this?
[00:01:47] I sure as fuck am.
[00:01:48] All right.
[00:01:49] Let's do it.
[00:01:49] Okie dokie.
[00:01:56] All right.
[00:01:56] So we're going to get into Project 2025 today.
[00:02:00] Okay.
[00:02:00] As you said in the intro, we got lost in the intro a little bit because there was so much
[00:02:08] that I had to research to understand what I was talking about before we even got to Project 2025.
[00:02:16] So we talked about Agenda 47.
[00:02:19] Do you remember what that is?
[00:02:20] That was Trump's version that is basically Project 2025 or similar at least.
[00:02:24] It's his little cute manifesto.
[00:02:26] Yeah.
[00:02:26] And the 47 is because he'll be considered the 47th president.
[00:02:31] Yeah.
[00:02:31] I wouldn't call it cute so much as dangerous, but okay.
[00:02:34] Yeah.
[00:02:35] Yeah.
[00:02:35] Semantics, you know.
[00:02:36] We also covered Schedule F.
[00:02:38] Do you remember what that is?
[00:02:40] Schedule F is the bit where they're going to change how many people are classified as political
[00:02:46] and government jobs that they can put in their own operatives, essentially.
[00:02:50] Yeah.
[00:02:51] They're changing the classification of federal civil service workers.
[00:02:55] Right.
[00:02:55] Yep.
[00:02:56] Yeah.
[00:02:56] So like you said, they can fire them and replace them.
[00:02:59] Yay.
[00:02:59] On their, at a whim.
[00:03:01] Yeah.
[00:03:01] Yeah.
[00:03:01] And then, like you said, we talked about the Heritage Foundation.
[00:03:06] Yep.
[00:03:07] And their mandate for leadership, which is the book that they put out starting back in the
[00:03:12] 80s.
[00:03:13] Right.
[00:03:13] Which is their little cute plan to take over the world.
[00:03:17] Yeah.
[00:03:17] And they've been a scary operation for decades.
[00:03:20] Yes, they have.
[00:03:22] And they have an arm, a sister organization, which is their active arm called Heritage Action.
[00:03:30] Right.
[00:03:31] That kind of is their dog that they send out to go do these things.
[00:03:36] Yeah.
[00:03:36] Yeah.
[00:03:36] And we talked about some of the positions that line up between the Heritage Foundation
[00:03:46] and the Project 2025 and the Agenda 47, how they all kind of match up.
[00:03:57] Okay.
[00:03:57] Yeah, yeah.
[00:03:58] Like the anti-critical race theory, anti-Black Lives Matter, anti-climate change research,
[00:04:06] anti-LGBTQIA rights, anti-Ukraine assistance, anti-voter protection rights.
[00:04:14] Yeah.
[00:04:14] Like, I sound like I'm just boring here.
[00:04:16] Right.
[00:04:16] And anti-democracy altogether.
[00:04:19] Right.
[00:04:19] Sounds like they should have just called the fucking document anti.
[00:04:22] Pretty much.
[00:04:24] You know.
[00:04:24] And that's why I tried to phrase it that way.
[00:04:27] I listed it.
[00:04:28] Like, they weren't always written as anti-this, anti-that.
[00:04:32] But I made sure that I phrased it in such a way as that it specifically said they are against
[00:04:39] everything.
[00:04:41] Yeah.
[00:04:41] Everything.
[00:04:42] Right.
[00:04:42] So, I just wanted to kind of recap so that if any of that sounds confusing to you and you
[00:04:50] did not listen to the open episode prior to this, you really should go listen to that.
[00:04:57] It's a good in.
[00:04:59] And again, lots of information.
[00:05:00] Publicly available to everybody if you're a free subscriber on our Patreon.
[00:05:03] Yep.
[00:05:04] Patreon.com forward slash sacreligious discourse.
[00:05:06] Yeah.
[00:05:06] Go give that a listen and then come back and listen to this because today now I'm actually
[00:05:12] getting into, yeah, but what is Project 2025?
[00:05:15] Sure.
[00:05:16] Yeah.
[00:05:16] Okay.
[00:05:16] And what it is is an initiative that aims to promote conservative and right-wing policies,
[00:05:24] which, duh, we could tell that just from everything that we've heard.
[00:05:29] Yeah.
[00:05:29] To reshape the United States federal government and consolidate executive power should Donald
[00:05:36] Trump win the 2024 presidential election, which seemed a lot more likely a few weeks ago before
[00:05:44] Biden stepped down.
[00:05:45] It did.
[00:05:46] Which seems a lot less likely now that he did.
[00:05:51] Psst.
[00:05:52] Want to hear something you won't hear anywhere else?
