Husband and Wife cover Psalms 6 - 8
Psalm 6: A Prayer for Mercy in Time of Trouble, starts out, "O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger." This is a penitential psalm written to serve as a prayer for anyone suffering from distress. It's also known as an Individual Lamentation; a Sick Psalm; or a Psalm of Confession.
Psalm 7: A Prayer for Vindication, starts out, "O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust." This Lamentation warns, "Those who are pregnant with evil conceive trouble and give birth to disillusionment." Creepy af!
Psalm 8: God's Glory and Man's Honor, starts out, "O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!" This psalm (Wife's favorite thus far) is "the song of the Astronomer" and inspired the well-known hymn "How Great Thou Art." Make sure y'all listen to some of the covers of this gorgeous song!
