Psalm 78: God's Faithfulness to His Unfaithful People / A new beginning in Zion and David. Starts, "Give ear, O my people, to my law." Psalm 78 is the first of the three great history psalms (the others being Psalms 105 and 106)It is the second-longest Psalm, with 72 verses, and that's why we didn't get to the other two psalms we meant to read. It's basically a rehash of Exodus, but only the good parts. Just kidding — there weren't any good parts. We did learn that God got drunk and fell asleep, which explains why he disappears for great stretches.
