Ecclesiastes Wrap Up: Bible Study for Atheists

Husband and Wife recap the Book of Ecclesiastes —

In which "Solomon" (wink-wink) urges us to enjoy the good things life has to offer before we get to old to shake it like a Polaroid picture, since we have no way of knowing how or when we're gonna kick it. We think this is actually a good philosophy, and the book itself was surprisingly enjoyable with its dark tones and heavy symbolism. Wife murders a song from Pete's Dragon (1977) and we both fail the quiz. But it's all meaningless anyway so who cares?

"Candle on the Water"

sung by Helen Reddy in Pete's Dragon (1977)
