[00:03:40] Dreaming about all the different ways that he could kill Israelites and in that episode husband was responding to all those ways with every

[00:03:50] Fiber of anger in his being I really was because it it's

[00:03:57] People read this book and they say their God is good. They say their God is the righteous

[00:04:07] Version of what humanity should be right this God this this God the God that they worship is

[00:04:16] literally

[00:04:18] Dreaming

[00:04:20] Listing off ways in which he might kill

[00:04:25] mass amounts of people and specifically

[00:04:28] He's fine with killing off kids right specifically says that yeah and animals. He's very excited about that

[00:04:36] And he's like let's do this thing. Yeah, I I'm not okay with a God that thinks that

[00:10:48] Talked to you about whatever you're learning that day, right? It's usually some

[00:10:53] Message that they have deemed appropriate to share with the the group right the congregation congregation. Yeah

[00:11:00] And and there's usually a message in it that they will they will teach you what that message is after they get done reading the section, right?

[00:11:09] Most people that I have ever known it feels like they don't really even listen to

[00:11:15] The part that the that's written that's read about the Bible, right?

[00:11:18] They just want the lesson they want the lesson part

[00:11:20] Yeah, they want the part that their pastor or preacher or whatever

[00:11:23] Tells them at the end and says this is what you're supposed to take from that. Yeah, you know

[00:11:28] Yeah, and so by doing so it

[00:11:32] It allows everybody who is going to church to cherry pick right whatever their pastor or preacher

[00:11:38] Whatever person tells them that is what the the gospel is, you know, I was referring more to

[00:11:45] The fact that when this was first all put together

[00:11:50] Like the people that were listening to this were like

[00:11:54] We do suck we are mere humans. We are worms. Oh, okay. You know what I mean? Yeah, and

[00:12:00] God is great and we are trash

[00:12:02] Okay, and it's like I'm sad that you really feel that way about yourself like

[00:12:11] Finding a way to be happy in your own skin, right?

[00:12:14] finding a way to reconcile your flaws with your hopes and dreams and your

[00:12:24] Wishes to be a better person and all that right right hard to find that middle ground and and

[00:12:30] Just take care of you. Yeah, and this is like you shouldn't cuz you suck. Yeah, and it's like ouch

[00:12:38] Right like this if I had grown up with this kind of message

[00:12:50] Because of my mental health issues and the deep

[00:12:54] depressions that I have suffered prior to medication if I had grown up listening to this kind of thing I

[00:13:06] What I'm getting grew up with somebody telling you that this is how you should feel about right?

[00:13:11] Yeah, that's what I mean that you just are that this is the way it's supposed to be right right because the way

[00:13:19] I would internalize this I would take this message to heart because I know that because that's how I am with

[00:13:27] everything that I get into you know with every

[00:13:31] Message that I'm like, okay. I want to really understand what I'm reading

[00:13:35] So I'm gonna read this hard and close. Yeah, and I'm gonna reflect on it

[00:13:41] That if I grew up reading this and this was the message that I was receiving all the time

[00:13:47] I would probably not be here today and that makes me

[00:13:50] So sad and it makes me wonder like how many people internalize this message sure
