Church-State Action Center
Find your officials, build editable advocacy messages, and take action for religious neutrality in government. We never secretly send messages on your behalf.
Step 1 of 5
Start by entering your address so we can find the right officials for you.
Enter your address
We use this only to identify your federal and state representatives — never stored, never shared.

Add the officials and legislation you want to contact. Federal bills pair with federal officials; state bills with state officials — automatically.

FAQ
Common questions
Does this page automatically contact officials for me?
No. It helps you find officials, draft messages, and open official contact links, but you always review and manually send the message yourself.
Why does a full address work better than ZIP only?
A full address gives the most accurate district-level results, especially for U.S. House and state legislative seats. ZIP lookup still works as a fallback.
Where do the bill alerts come from?
The state-bill panel pulls from the American Atheists legislation tracker and filters results to focus on church-state and secular governance concerns.
Why are there separate federal and state message groups?
Federal and state officials have different roles and respond to different arguments. Keeping them separate lets you tailor each message to the right audience and reference the right legislation.
Can I edit the generated message before I use it?
Yes — and you should. The text fields in Step 4 are fully editable. Personalize the message so it sounds like you before contacting an office or posting publicly.
