Some random prophet just runs up to Asa and starts shouting, "Don't forget God stuff!" which is just so odd. Then Asa tears down Asherah poles which makes no sense because HE ALREADY DID THAT. He fires his gma and threatens death to those who don't adopt his religion, and (surprise- surprise) everybody gets onto the Lord real quick, which magically ushers in a period of peace. Go figure.
