Psalm 25: A Prayer for Guidance, Pardon and Protection. Starts, "Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul." The psalm has the form of an acrostic Hebrew poem, in which each line starts with the next letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Imagine if Christians today took education this seriously, instead of banning books… what a wonderful world it would be!
Psalm 26: A Protestation of Integrity. Starts, "Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity." The more you talk about your own integrity, the more you come across as lacking it. Actions speak a lot louder than words, and anyway if (as Christians often claim) God already knows your heart, he knows what kind of person you are, rendering your words pointless at best, and false at worst.
Psalm 27: The LORD Is My Light and My Salvation. Starts, "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" It is thought by some that this may be a sequel to the preceding psalm. Courage isn't the lack of fear; courage is facing your fear and doing the scary thing anyway.
